Sooraj Pancholi faced a brief period of stardom post his debut film, Hero got released. The actor thereafter hasn’t been able to land on some outstanding projects, particularly since his personal life overshadowed his professional scope of work. For the unversed, the actor was booked under the law of abetment to suicide for his ex-girlfriend, Jiah Khan in 2018. Although the actor was given a clean chit from the case in April 2023 due to lack of evidence, nevertheless, Sooraj, on many instances had explained how he has been sort of sidelined in the industry.
Fast forward to now, Sooraj Pancholi has accepted that he has given love a second chance in his life and has found a partner. Although he didn’t much details about the woman, nevertheless, he has elaborated that he is happy in the new relationship. In a recent interview with Sidharth Kannan, Sooraj was asked whether his ladylove has discussed his past with him, specifically about the time when he was embroiled in the suicide case of his ex-girlfriend, Jiah Khan. To this, Sooraj mentioned that while his partner has faith and confidence in him, but they haven’t felt the need to discuss that portion of his life. In his words:
“Not so long, but I have been in a relationship, just not that long. We have never spoken about it. There is no need to... That's why everyone looks for a partner, right?"

In the same interaction, Sooraj was asked about his dad, Aditya Pancholi’s controversial life and image in Bollywood. To this, he mentioned that his dad does have a very bad image, and admitted that the former has done some unpardonable mistakes in his life. However, having said that he has forgiven his father, since he understands that his father needs him. Sooraj had mentioned:
“My father has a certain image as this bad boy person, who has done many things wrong. I don't agree with it, of course, he has done things wrong. He is my father, I love him no matter what baap ek hi hota hai. I don't agree with the way he has handled things in his life but in a way I have forgiven him because I know I am his only support in life. I want to make him proud.”
Well, this hasn’t been the first time that Sooraj Pancholi has made some candid revelations about his father, Aditya Pancholi’s controversial personality. For instance, in one of his earlier interactions with SpotboyE, Sooraj was asked to reveal his take on his father and Kangana’sRanaut’s infamous fiasco over their bitter past relationship. To this, Sooraj had clarified that he wasn’t really aware of that part of his father’s life, since as a child back in the time, he used to be away living with his grandparents. Moreover, he mentioned that after all, his parents, Aditya and Zarina sorted everything out.

In an earlier interview with The Times Of India, Sooraj Pancholi had opened up about the matters of his heart and revealed that his past relationship with Jiah Khan was the shortest one he ever had. Moreover, he shared that after Jiah Khan's suicide and the ordeal he went through, he has been dating someone for almost seven years. In his words:
"I think my relationship with Jiah was probably the shortest relationship I have had. After that, I have been in one relationship and it’s been about seven years now, and it is beautiful. There’s nothing in the world that can match up to the feeling being in love, being taken care of, and doing the same for the other person."
