Alia is one of the many celebrities, who have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus as the nation has entered the third wave of COVID-19.
On April 3, 2021, Alia Bhatt had announced that she has been diagnosed with the deadly Coronavirus. Alia had penned a note on her IG stories informing her fans, which could be read as "Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."
Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Soni shared a health update of her daughter and said, "I am in touch with her, it’s just that I try not to call her too many times. In the last few days, I have called her in the morning to check on her. I don’t want to burden her with constant calls, because if I keep doing that, it will stress her out."
Soni further revealed that she has been texting her with diet tips and what she should eat amidst it. Soni shared, "I sent her messages suggesting what she should eat, which is simple and light food. So, she is sorted now as far as her food is concerned. Since Alia has been shooting, she has been taking COVID tests regularly. She has been extremely cautious, so when it happened, it was detected immediately."
There is no denying the fact that Alia is a proud momma's girl. She shares a beautiful bond with her mum, Soni. Alia often shares snippets of her life on her Instagram feed and she had once posted a cute note by her mother. The old note was handwritten by Razdan to her daughter which could be read as “Darling Alia, this is for you to keep by your bedside to read every now and then and get reminded of how much I love you...Love mama". Along with it, Alia wrote, "One of those days where I miss my mother terribly and find this by my bedside! #mothersjustknow".
Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Soni had revealed how Alia was as a kid. She had shared, "Alia was a very obedient child, the only thing she was fussy about was what dress she wore. I would have to give her choices and she would pick her dress out knowing very well exactly what she wanted to wear. Alia was always a happy go lucky child, it is a wonderful feeling to witness how big of a star she has become now. We are all quite charmed by what she is managing to do. She is doing it well and what more can one ask."
Well, we hope Alia gets well soon!
