Ever since Sonam Kapoor and her hubby, Anand Ahuja have become parents, the doting mommy has been sharing glimpses of her motherhood journey. It was on August 20, 2022, when the couple had delighted the world with their good news as they welcomed a baby boy into their lives and since then we are eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the little munchkin.
On September 20, 2022, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja's baby boy turned one month old, and to mark his special day, the doting parents shared the first-ever picture with him. The priceless photo showed the trio twinning in designer, Anamika Khanna's yellow-coloured outfits. Sharing the picture, Sonam also revealed her baby boy's name and shared that they have named him 'Vayu'.

Sonam Kapoor is enjoying every moment of her motherhood journey with her son, Vayu. However, her fans are keen to know when she would resume her work. As per a close source, Sonam is thrilled to be a mommy and is currently focused on giving her full attention to her son, Vayu. However, it is also stated that the actress will soon make her comeback with her sister, Rhea Kapoor’s film. As per the source:
“Sonam is very much thinking about work but definitely not now. She is very much aware that her fans are wanting to see her on big screen. But for now, she is fully focused on Vayu as he needs her the most now. Sonam is very excited about this new journey in life and is trying to do everything best. While talking about films, she will be working win sister Rhea Kapoor's film, Rhea has a very strong script for Sonam, and she has even discussed with her but at least six months SK will not resume work and after that she will start working on her physicality and more.”
The source further added that Sonam Kapoor, who is known as the quintessential diva of Bollywood, is not worried about her appearance post-motherhood and is taking it slow. Stating that Sonam is not taking any pressure about her work, the source claimed:
“Motherhood brings a lot of change in you especially your outer body, while Sonam is not taking any pressure about her outer appearance at all. She is known to be the quintessential diva and never be worried about her looks. On September 7, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Sonam Kapoor made a hilarious revelation about being a mommy. Sharing a picture note on her IG stories, Sonam mentioned that she finds baby burps cute. Her cutesy post made everyone go aww, leaving her fans in a meltdown. Her note could be read as:
"Only burps that are cute are baby burps."
