Yesterday, we brought you the news of Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi. Donned in a pink dress with henna in her hands, she smiled like a breath of fresh air. And today, on May 07, 2018, happens to be the sangeet ceremony. Celebrities are all gearing up for today evening, and many of them have been spotted outside the Kapoor residence in Bandra carrying sagan for the ceremony. Check out the pic here:
We also bumped into a video of Sonam’s co-star from her upcoming film, Veere Di Wedding and her bestie, Swara Bhaskar practising dance for the sangeet ceremony. Sonam and Swara have previously worked in Raanjhanaa and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and share a very amicable video. Take a look at the video:
Swara also took to her Instagram and posted her mehendi outfit that with her fans. So, finally, it’s today that we are going to see these celebrities perform on the sangeet ceremony. Earlier, a source revealed to a leading daily, “Rehearsals have kicked off at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow. The doting dad and mom Sunita will be putting together a special act for the bride-to-be at the sangeet. Sonam’s cousins and extended family have joined in as well for the pre-wedding ceremony. They will perform on her hit songs like the Veere… title track, “Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai” from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and “Dheere Dheere” from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs”.
Sonam Kapoor’s father, Anil Kapoor will also be performing today. It was reported, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers – Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan. It will be more fun because Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher will also be joining Anil”.
