Shehnaaz Gill is basking in the glory of her recently released film, Thank You For Coming, which is directed by Rhea Kapoor. The film has already premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival, and has been winning a lot of praise and appreciation. Moreover, each of the cast of the film, including Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Dolly Singh, Anil Kapoor, along with Shehnaaz herself, has been applauded for their acting mettle. And now, Shehnaaz received a happy shoutout from the diva, Sonam Kapoor.
Taking to her IG stories, Sonam Kapoor shared a clip of Shehnaaz Gill from the red-carpet event of the Toronto International Film Festival, where the latter is busy promoting the film, Thank You For Coming. In the particular event, Shehnaaz can be seen answering a reporter’s questions in fluent English. For the unversed, Shehnaaz, who rose to fame with her cutesy Punjabi accent during her journey in Bigg Boss 13 seemed to be mesmerising everyone with her English accent. Sharing the clip, Sonam Kapoor gave a big shoutout to Shehnaaz and wrote:
“You’re amazing @shehnaazgill.”

Well, as soon as Sonam had reshared Shehnaaz’s clip on her social media account, curious netizens took a screengrab of the same and posted it on the discussion portal, Reddit. Creating a thread out of it, netizens began discussing Sonam Kapoor’s apparent delusional and opportunist nature, since she usually praises elite celebrities, which makes her appear as a snob. Moreover, a few netizens also took a dig at Shehnaaz’s English-speaking skills, and highlighted how the diva got her basic credentials changed on the internet, after she bagged a film offer from Rhea Kapoor.

During the promotions of her film, Thank You For Coming, Shehnaaz Gill, in an interview with B4U Entertainment, gave a sassy response to her haters. The diva mentioned that she has a strong base of fans, and speaking about the haters, they haven’t really seen a personality like hers ever. In her words:
“I have a big fan following but I also have a lot of haters, trolls. People think that whatever Shehnaaz does is not her real personality, it’s all fake. They have never seen a personality like mine. I am so unique so people can’t digest that she’s so cute, is she trying to be too cute? Bro, I am really cute. I am cute, then I am cute, if I am dangerous, then I am dangerous.”

A few days back, Sonam Kapoor was spotted gracing an event, in an all-black avatar. She wore an oversized coat dress and had apparently nothing underneath and paired it with matching black pants. Subtle makeup, including glossy lips, blushed cheeks, winged eyes and defined brows completed her look. However, the outfit’s plunging neckline, grabbed the attention, and the actress, too was also spotted adjusting her coat and constantly keeping her hands near her neckline, in order to hide her revealing assets. This grabbed the netizens' attention, and they pointed out the same.
