Remember May 8, 2018? Yes, it was the day Sonam tied the knot with her long-time businessman beau, Anand Ahuja. And trust us, it seemed as if Sonam’s wedding was a nationwide celebration! To those who know and those who don’t, Anand is the CEO/ Founder of Bhane, a clothing brand that deals in blending contemporary clothing with style. To ensure that hubby’s greatest of collection from Bhane receives the maximum limelight, the Neerja-girl sported a crisp white shirt from hubby-owned, Bhane!
Although, hubby Anand could not accompany Sonam to Cannes due to previous work commitments, Sonam ensured Anand’s presence with her even while she was walking the red-carpet. Yesterday, May 15, 2018, Sonam sported a ravishing blue denim from Bhane and a crisp white shirt from Simone Rocha. Styled by none other than sissie Rhea Kapoor and make-up by Namrata Soni, Sonam, as usual looked like a diva in her red carpet look. (Do Checkout! What further stole the show were Sonam’s Sergio Rossi motif sandals! She went on with a messy bun, small golden hoops and marsala wine lipstick. Did you notice the newly-wed’s faded mehendi adorned hands and feet? Only Sonam can kill with a look like that!
Sister Rhea took to social media and posted several pictures of her sissie’s Cannes look. At one of her pictures, she wrote, “The most glam go with the flow ever”. Want to know another super-sweet thingy that happened to Sonam at Cannes? Her make-up partner for Cannes, L’oreal’s team, organised a sweet cake-cutting function for Sonam to congratulate for her marriage. She posted a story on her Instagram handle with these words written on the image: “@anandahuja, this was for us!” The beautiful wifey also wrote: “I was so touched!” Checkout the image below:
Once in an interview with TOI, when Sonam shared she does not experience any pressure while walking the red carpet. She felt that the whole point behind walking such prestigious and stylish red carpets was to “have fun, look good and just have a good time”.
Sonam, this is quite evident with the way you carry yourself. While you killed it in your hubby’s collection, we can’t wait to see you in many other Bhane’s wear!
