Bollywood actress and fashionista, Sonam Kapoor is quite excited as she and her hubby, Anand Ahuja are all set to welcome their baby. Sonam, who is known for her sartorial choices, is acing her maternity looks too and is giving cues to many expecting women. Sonam’s family and friends hosted a baby shower for the actress, and she looked like a diva with her breezy attire.
For the unversed, it was on March 22, 2022, when Sonam had surprised her fans by posting stunning pictures of her in a black monokini, flaunting her baby bump. Announcing her pregnancy, Sonam had written:
"Four hands to raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can't wait to welcome you."

On June 15, 2022, British Pakistani singer, Leo Kalyan posted glimpses from Sonam’s baby shower, in which the actress looked stunning. For the baby shower, Sonam opted for a pink halter neck pleated dress, flaunting her baby bump. She paired her dress with golden earrings, and the glow on her face was simply unmissable. The soon-to-be mommy was also seen grooving to the song, Masakali.
Sonam had taken to her IG stories to share glimpses of her baby shower, which had featured a customised menu and dreamy décor. The décor had included flowers, name-customised napkins, cutesy plates and baby bibs. We also got glimpses of the yummy delicacies curated by Sonam’s sister, Rhea Kapoor.

In a conversation with Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had talked about her pregnancy and had revealed that she is focusing on keeping herself healthy rather than trying to diet or exercise. Revealing how her pregnancy had pushed her to take the healthy route, Sonam had said:
“I ate a dosa for breakfast this morning. I'm not trying to be on some high protein diet to get to fifteen percent body fat. Crash dieting is just not sustainable. If you want to carry another life within you, you have to respect your own.”
Further in the interview, Sonam had stated that her pregnancy journey was not easy. The stunning actress had stated that her first trimester was quite difficult and she was not prepared for it. Talking about the same, she had said:
"It's been tough—nobody tells you how hard it is. Everybody tells you how wonderful it is. The reason we're all here is to change and become better versions of ourselves. So that evolution is something I look forward to.”
