Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is the new mommy in Tinseltown, and she has been living the beautiful phase of motherhood to the fullest. Married to businessman, Anand Ahuja, Sonam is blessed with a baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The new mommy is trying to make every moment of her son's life memorable, and as Diwali 2022 is Vayu's first, the doting mommy celebrated it in the best way possible.
On October 20, 2022, Vayu turned two months old, and the doting mommy celebrated his special day with full enthusiasm. Taking to her IG handle, she shared a glimpse of the cutesy lion-themed cake which she got for her little one. The cake was decked up with two candles and edible balls, and it was too cute to be missed. Atop the cake, it was written:
"Celebrating 60 days of Vayu."

On October 24, 2022, the newbie parents, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja hosted a Diwali bash for their friends and family. For the occasion, the new mommy decked up in an ivory-hued ensemble and looked stunning. She accentuated her look with a pearl headpiece and a pair of heavy earrings. Flashing her infectious smile for the lens, Sonam grabbed the limelight with her gorgeous looks.
To celebrate their son, Vayu's arrival, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja gave a thoughtful gift to their well-wishers. The newbie parents gave a beautiful painting and a bouquet to all their loved ones. Along with it, they also sent a card, which had a meaningful message written on it. An excerpt from the same could be read as:
"The bespoke artwork by artist Rithika Merchant was especially commissioned to mark the birth of Vayu and is one of just 500 prints of its kind. We hope it finds a place in your home, and Vayu a place in your heart."

On October 13, 2022, Sonam Kapoor had attended the Karwa Chauth celebrations, hosted by her mother, Sunita Kapoor, at their residence. Though she had not kept a fast, the actress made sure to captivate our hearts with her look. In the pictures, she was seen dressed in a rani pink saree which had a purple and green border, and she looked ethereal. Completing her look with a contrasting green-coloured blouse, she accentuated her look with heavy jhumas, kadha and a necklace.
