It most recently happened that Naga Chaitanya posted a photo of his wife, Sobhita, as she prepared dinner for him. In the photo, Sobhita was seen donning a pink-toned loose-fitted T-shirt. No sooner did Naga Chaitanya post the photo, than netizens started guessing that Sobhita might be pregnant. To mention, there's absolutely no confirmation about the same, and it's just an assumption right now. Amid speculations about Sobhita Dhulipala's pregnancy, let's look back at a time when Naga Chaitanya talked about his wish to have a couple of kids, but not an extensive one.
Appearing on Rana Daggubati's show, Naga Chaitanya shared what he wanted to reach in his personal life by the time he is 50 years old. Speaking about the same, the actor said that he wanted to get married and have a couple of kids. Chaitanya expressed his wish to have a baby boy and a baby girl, while adding that he wouldn't want to have an extensive family like his uncle, Venkatesh Daggubati. Chaitanya said:
"I want to be happily married with a couple of kids. Not like Venky uncle. Maybe just one or two [kids]—that’s good for me."
In the same interview, Naga Chaitanya also shared his future plans with his kids. According to the actor, he would take his son to the race track for go-karting, while with his daughter, he would want to explore what her hobbies are like. He said:
“I’d take my son to the race track for go-karting, and if I have a daughter, I’d spend time exploring her hobbies. The moments we cherished growing up, I want to recreate those with them."

For the unversed, it was in 2025 when Sobhita Dhulipala's pregnancy buzz first hit the headlines. During that time, Sobhita was often spotted wearing loose-fitting silhouettes, and it sparked the buzz. Following this, a family source came forward and revealed that the outfits that Sobhita was wearing were anti-fit, not maternity clothes, and thus the buzz was baseless.
Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, sat for an interview with Suman TV, where he was questioned whether his son and daughter-in-law were expecting their first child. Nagarjuna was asked whether he was preparing to be a grandfather. The actor reportedly appeared shocked over such a question and laughed awkwardly, before attempting to walk away. When the interviewer persisted, he reportedly replied, 'I'll let you know at the right time'.
