Smriti Khanna had talked about the challenges of breastfeeding in one of her recent posts some days ago and had expressed her gratitude for having found a partner like Gautam. She had posted an adorable twinning family picture on August 5, 2020. The pictures had Gautam sitting on a couch with baby Anayka in his lap and his wifey, Smriti by his side. Flaunting their yellow ensembles, the whole family had looked like a bunch of sunflowers. In her caption, Smriti had written, "Having a nurturing and cognizant partner always standing by your side is such manna from heaven, especially when you enter motherhood and realize how challenging it can be when it comes to managing breastfeeding as a part & parcel of daily life routine. A very important thing that I and Gautam are learning during parenthood is how to be resilient and instrumental for each other!" The doting mommy is on a spree of flaunting her little goofballs' goofiness, and her social media feed is proof enough of the same. Smriti had shared a streak of baby Anayka's adorable expressions some days ago as well. On July 11, 2020, she had showered multiple pictures of her baby girl, Anayka on her Instagram handle for her fans. In the photos, we could see the baby girl looking like an angel in her white top with a Minnie mouse on it, giving cute expressions. Along with these adorable pictures, Smriti had written a caption in which she had revealed that she had lost her smartphone in a prank war with her hubby and Anayka's doting daddy, Gautam Gupta. Her caption could be read as "Sorry mama, you lost your phone in a prank war with dada" followed by laughing emoticons.
Talking about Smriti and Gautam's baby girl's unique name, Smriti Khanna had revealed the story of the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had said that it had taken them 20 days to decide her name. She had further revealed what 'Anayka' means and had added that it denotes 'powerful and complete'.
