On April 15, 2020, co-stars-turned-soulmates, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had embraced parenthood for the first time and had welcomed their little angel in their lives. In an interview with The Times of India, Gautam had revealed that his daughter was born around 4 pm in a Khar-based hospital. He had elaborated further that since they stay at Juhu and the hospital was in Khar, they had to drive amidst the lockdown, but they had safely reached the hospital.
On April 17 2020, the doting mommy, Smriti took to her Instagram handle to post an adorable video of the father-daughter duo, wherein the doting father, Gautam can be seen grooving slightly on a jazz tune while gently rocking his baby girl in his arms. Smriti captioned the video as, "Friday Night Jazz with his dancing partner." Have a look at the video here. To announce the best news of her life, Smriti Khanna had shared a family picture of her along with her husband, looking at each other with smiles on their faces and the 29-year-old star holding her baby girl in her arms. Smriti had captioned her post as "Our princess has arrived 15.04.2020." The elated father, Gautam too, had taken to his Instagram handle to announce the arrival of his little munchkin by posting a picture, wherein, he could be seen adoring his baby girl as she sleeps in his arms. Gautam had written, “Daddy’s bundle of joy!” To which, Smriti had commented, “My lifelines” followed by a heart. There's a popular saying: "Bhagwan Jab Deta Hai, Chhapar Fad Kar Deta Hai!" And it stands true in this case as only two days before Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had become parents, the latter had celebrated his 32nd birthday. Smriti had posted a video comprised of her cherishable memories with Gautam with the caption, “Happy birthday to my most precious gem, the light of my world and my forever love. If I did anything right in my life it was when I gave my heart to you. Of all years this is the one we should celebrate the most. Sure it might not be the kind of birthday you would have wished for, spending it in quarantine, but it is one we will remember. One that we will not take for granted. I’m so grateful that your love is mine and our lives are woven together and I feel incredibly blessed to be your wife. I love doing life with you and can’t wait to share parenthood with you now.
