Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi couple, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had decided on forever on November 23, 2017, and two-and-a-half years into marital bliss, the couple had embraced parenthood with the arrival of a little angel, Anayka Gupta. Though Smriti and Gautam’s social media profiles are hijacked by their little bundle of joy, we sometimes get glimpses of their love-filled pictures, which we are completely in awe of. A few days ago, Smriti had posted a beautiful picture with Gautam and we were in awe with their ‘kiss of love’ moment. But one of her followers didn’t like the picture and had asked Smriti in the comments, “@smritikhanna aesi pix mat share kia kren… apki apni beti dkhe tou acha lagega?” To which, Smriti had replied, “@cheffoodpk ji acha lagega… aur agar mere parents bhi kare toh bhi mujhe acha lagega… I love seeing lovey dovey couples.”
Ending January 2021 on a hilarious note, Smriti Khanna had released a video, Mummy Ji Ki Rap featuring herself, her hubby, Gautam Gupta and their daughter, Anayka Gupta. The video was a hilarious version of how life of a couple changes post the birth of their child. From how the little one’s the third wheel in their we time to how the number one girl became number 2, Smriti and Gautam’s video is super-adorable and funny. In a throwback interview with Zoom Digital, Smriti Khanna had spoken about the challenges she had faced in breastfeeding Anayka Gupta and how her hubby, Gautam Gupta had supported her throughout. The doting mommy had said, “I am breastfeeding and struggling with that. Every new mom struggles with breastfeeding. It is not spoken about so much in our country but it should be because it is such a struggle and if you plan to exclusively breastfeed your kid, then it is really hard. Maybe it is easier for some women and comes naturally to them, but I am facing a lot of problems and Gautam has been really supportive. He has been Googling and trying to show me all these videos like the perfect latch for the kid and all that. We are struggling but of course, are together in this, so it makes a huge difference.”
To mark Anayka Gupta’s half-birthday, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had celebrated at their home with a yummylicious cake and a beautifully decorated room. For the celebrations, Smriti and Anayka had twinned in blue-coloured ruffled dresses and Gautam had complemented the mother-daughter duo in a white t-shirt and blue denim. Sharing the adorable pictures of baby Anayka as she had completed 6-months, Smriti had written, "Happy ½ Birthday my princess."
