Siya Goyal Met Lover At Cafe To Plot Sinister Plan Of Pushing Fiance Ketan Agarwal From Lohagad Fort

Siya Goyal, a twenty-year-old girl, plotted the shocking plan of killing her 26-year-old fiance, Ketan Agarwal, by luring him to Lohagad Fort and then pushing him from a cliff. She succeeded in executing it with the help of her lover, Chetan Babulal Chaudhary. But it was the Lonavala Police who found the truth and interrogated her, and she confessed to the crime.

Hours before killing her fiance, Ketan, Siya met her lover, Chetan, at a cafe to plan the murder, and make it look like an accident. As per reports, Ketan was allegedly pushed into a gorge by SIya on June 18, 2026. The couple got engaged in February and were all set to get married in Jaipur in November 2026. Siya met Chetan at a cafe in Pune, where they identified possible locations on the fort to execute the murder.

In the afternoon, she took Ketan to the fort, and Chetan followed them, wearing a hoodie during the trek, which usually takes about three to four hours. Chetan kept communicating with Siya using hand gestures, and CCTV footage also showed Chetan wearing a hoodie to hide his identity.

Siya's unsuccessful plans of luring Ketan to Lohagad Fort twice before killing him there

Siya kept persuading Ketan to visit the Lohagad Fort with her multiple times in the past. The fort is located at about 3,300 feet above sea level in the Sahyadri range. They found out during the police probe that Siya and Ketan went to the Lohagad Fort on May 21, 2026, and she had again asked him to visit the fort four days later, but Ketan's mother denied and stopped him from going there a second time. 

Later, on June 14, 2026, Siya again planned a visit to Lohagad Fort, and he agreed. As per the claims, she pushed him off the cliff, and he managed to save himself by holding on to a bush. Later, when Ketan asked why she pushed him, she lied that she was trying to save him from a snake and hugged him. 

How did Siya and Chetan get caught by the police?

It was during the investigation when the police were checking CCTV footage that they noticed a man dressed up in a hoodie was following Ketan and Siya's trail. He also wore a headset over the hoodie, which raised suspicion. In another footage, Siya suddenly looked back at the man, and he immediately sat down. The police found it shocking as the man was wearing a hoodie in 33 degrees Celsius. While talking to Ketan's family, the police found out that Siya repeatedly asked Ketan to make a trip to Lohagd Fort. The police said:

"The technical analysis established a close connection between the duo and pointed towards a well-thought-out conspiracy. We then examined photographs and social media profiles linked to Chaudhary. A comparison of those images with CCTV footage from the fort showing a hooded individual in the area helped police narrow their focus on him."

In an interaction, Ketan's father claimed that it was Siya's aunt and uncle who pushed her for the marriage despite knowing about her alleged affair with Chetan. He revealed that they have known the girl's family for 35 years. They claimed that if Siya didn't want to get married, she could simply refuse it. He was quoted as saying:

"We have known the girl's family for 35 years. How could they do this to us? Siya's uncle and aunt pushed for the match despite knowing about her affair. If she didn't want to get married, she could have simply refused. We would have cancelled the wedding immediately. Why did they take such a drastic step? What kind of mindset is this?"
