Siya Goyal's Brother Knew Her Alleged Lover, Chetan Chaudhary, Secret Link Unveiled

The Lohagad Fort murder case has sent shockwaves throughout the nation. The infamous murder involved a 26-year-old Pune businessman who was brutally killed by his fiancee, Siya Goyal, who turned 20 this month, in June 2026. According to reports, Siya allegedly pushed Ketan off the Lohagad Fort into a deep gorge 400 feet below. She was reportedly helped by her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary. The latest development stated that investigators uncovered a deeper personal connection between the two accused.

Previously, Siya Goyal’s father, Pravin Goyal, denied knowing anything about her love affair with Chetan Chaudhary. But now it seems like the reality is a bit twisted. According to police sources, Chetan was known to Siya’s elder brother, Sahil Goyal. It was cricket that connected Sahil and Chetan. The investigators reportedly said that Chetan, a cricketer, had played matches alongside Sahil. 

According to a report by India Today, Siya accompanied her brother during tournaments. Investigators believe that during one of these tournaments, Siya and Chetan met only to reconnect later. The pair once again met at a Diwali gathering in 2025 organised by a common friend. Over six months from January 2026 to June 2026, Siya and Chetan had around 2,004 phone calls.

Siya Goyal's dad denies knowing her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary

As investigators unveiled the secret link between Chetan and Siya’s brother, Sahil, her father, Pravin Goyal’s statement stole the spotlight. Speaking to reporters, Pravin denied knowing Siya’s alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary. He stated that Siya was a simple girl and they didn’t know anything about her love affairs. Pravin alleged that Chetan never came to their home. He highlighted that his daughter spoke only to Ketan ever since she got engaged in February 2026. He was quoted as saying:

"We did not have any prior knowledge about Siya's love affairs. Siya was a simple girl. She is 19 years old. Would a 19-year-old girl do such a thing? I don't know anything about him. Where did Chetan come from? I've never seen his face, nor have I ever spoken to him in my life. He has never been to our house. Siya never expressed any displeasure about this marriage. We did not know anything about Chetan. Ever since the engagement, she only spoke to Ketan. I don't believe that she agreed to commit the crime."

Ketan Agarwal's father expressed grief over his untimely passing

Ketan’s untimely demise left his family heartbroken. Speaking to reporters, Ketan’s father, Vishal, expressed his grief over his tragic death. It is pretty disheartening for a parent to lose a child. Vishal shared that he trusted Ketan and hoped for his support in old age. However, a heinous crime by Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan, took away Ketan from his family. Vishal was quoted as saying:

"He was meant to stand by my side in my old age, to be my support until the very end, and one day light my funeral pyre. But someone's criminal act has taken my son away from me."

Ketan Agarwal reportedly died on June 18, 2026. Initially, a case of accidental death was registered, but later, due to Ketan’s family’s suspicion, a fresh probe began. During the investigation, police got to know about Siya’s alleged affair with Chetan. Siya reportedly continued her relationship with Chetan even after getting engaged to Ketan. Siya and Ketan were all set to get married in November 2026.
