The infamous Lohagad murder case has taken a new turn. For the unversed, 20-year-old Siya Goyal has been accused of killing her 26-year-old fiance, Ketan Agarwal. Siya allegedly pushed Ketan off the Lohagad Fort into a deep gorge 400 feet below. Recently, during the investigation, Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, blamed each other for the crime. According to the latest development, the prime motive behind Ketan’s killing was reportedly his baldness. However, Ketan’s dad rejected the reason and explained the issue behind Ketan’s baldness.

According to multiple reports, Siya Goyal’s motive behind killing Ketan Agarwal was allegedly due to baldness. He used to wear a wig for the same. Siya reportedly told Pune Rural Police that she disliked Ketan as he wore a wig. However, Ketan’s father, Vishal, rejected the claim and said that wearing a wig can never a reason for Siya to kill his son. He stated that both Siya and her family knew about his baldness before they got engaged in February 2026. He then revealed that his son, Ketan, had medical reasons for which he had hair loss. In his words:

"Ketan had a small patch of hair loss due to medical reasons, but this was clearly communicated well before the marriage was finalised. If she had any issues, she could have just said no. It would have been very easy for Siya to simply call off the wedding if that was an issue for her."

On June 26, 2026, Siya Goyal reportedly revealed the real reason behind killing her fiance, Ketan Agarwal. According to a report by The Wall, Siya told the cops that Ketan was bald and that he used a wig. This thing really bothered her. Siya claimed that not many people know about the 26-year-old Pune businessman’s baldness. Ketan reportedly had a stammering issue as well. Siya said that her family knew about Ketan’s conditions and didn’t think it was a major issue. So, they decided to marry Siya off. However, Siya never really liked Ketan.

Siya told investigators that she couldn't get along with Ketan despite her efforts to continue with the relationship. When cops asked Siya why she didn’t refuse the marriage proposal instead of killing Ketan, she allegedly said that she didn’t want to hurt her family and that, for her, the easiest solution to the problem was killing Ketan. She was quoted as saying:

"I didn't want to hurt my family. If this marriage had been broken, our family's reputation would have been ruined."

In the now-viral clip, Ketan and Siya seemed madly in love.

Siya owned a bakery and is a BBA dropout, while Ketan served as the Director and Chief Marketing Officer of his family-owned real estate firm, Success Group. He pursued a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from August 2022 to July 2023. He also held a BBA degree in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from Symbiosis Skills & Professional University.
