Sidharth Malhotra used to be one of the most eligible bachelors in Tinseltown back in the days. The dapper actor, who debuted with Student Of The Year made himself an instant crush for the massive audience, who simply drooled over his handsome looks and chiselled physique. Moreover, Sidharth also continually remained a part of the headlines, owing to one or other of his link-ups with his co-stars. However, it was finally in 2023 that he broke several hearts and said forever to his soulmate, Kiara Advani.
Speaking about the number of link-up rumours Sidharth Malhotra has had to deal with in various instances of his career, it was one with his A Gentleman co-star, Jacqueline Fernandez which made quite the rounds on the internet. While they often dismissed such speculations as being baseless, it was one of their responses to a question in an interview, which raised quite a few eyebrows.

Back in 2017, Sidharth and Jacqueline had graced the infamous couch of Koffee With Karan, wherein they revealed several juicy anecdotes about their lives. During one such round, Karan Johar asked the two of them if they had, in person, made out with someone in a public place, especially inside a flight. To this, the two of them not only blushed hard, they even had a eye-contact for a few minutes, before choking up in laughter and finally having a shot of coffee for telling the truth.
Well, the banter didn’t really end there, and Karan Johar further pressed Sidharth Malhotra if it was with Jacqueline Fernandez that he made out with. While Jacqueline burst out in laughter hearing the question, Sidharth, on the other hand, looked shocked for a split second. He then cheekily replied:
“No. We were in different flights, Karan.”

Interestingly, the rumours of a relationship between Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez didn’t stop for the longest time, especially after the duo shot for a longish kissing scene in their film, A Gentleman. However, in one of her later interviews with the IANS, Jacqueline set the record straight and promptly responded that Sidharth and her were nothing more than great friends. In her words:
“If that was the case, then I wouldn’t be working with a lot of co-stars because link-up rumour is something that the media is obsessed with. So no, that doesn’t mean that you stop working with people because of that. It’s important to continue working with them because you know yourself that they are not true. Sid and I are extremely good friends. We have worked together twice now in Brothers and A Gentleman….”

Fast forward to now, Sidharth Malhotra is blissfully settled in matrimony and enjoying the most beautiful life with his better half, Kiara Advani. For the unversed, their real-life romance blossomed during the shooting of their film together, Shershaah. Their on-screen jodi was such a major success that their fans simply cannot wait to witness them reunite again in a film. Previously, in one of his interviews with a leading daily, Sidharth talked about the same and said:
“That's up to asking the directors and filmmakers. We would love to do a full-fledged love story. It's just up to us, finding the right content, and the right script. I'll take this message back home and let's see and also take it to other directors and give them hints."
