A new twist had come in the case of the alleged suicide of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, when Mumbai police was accused of not cooperating with the Bihar police in the investigation, by forcibly quarantining Bihar police officers who had come to investigate. Mumbai police's ignorant charade hadn't gone down well with the public, and new theories were born claiming Mumbai police trying to save the people responsible behind this unfortunate incident. Meanwhile, amidst all this ruckus, a day back, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced that his government is recommending Sushant's case for a CBI probe. The Bihar CM conferred in his statement that the DGP-Bihar had spoken to Sushant's father KK Singh and that he has given his consent for a CBI investigation. Sushant Singh Rajput's creative manager, who was also his flatmate, Siddharth Pithani has been giving interviews, and in a recent one with Times Now, he gave details about Rhea Chakraborty's expenditure on Sushant's money. FYI, in the FIR registered in Bihar, by Sushant's father KK Singh against Rhea Chakraborty for abetment to suicide, mental and financial harassment, he had alleged that Rs 15 Crore was transferred to accounts that weren't in any way connected to Sushant. Sushant's friend, Siddharth Pithani has spoken up about the same.
Talking about the expense facade, Sushant's flatmate, Siddharth Pithani revealed that he had spoken to the late actor about the expenditure that Rhea was incurring on his cards. He also said that Sushant had himself told him in January that he had wanted to cut down on his expenses. Not only this, but even Sushant's staff had also told him that the late actor was worried about the overflowing expenses that Rhea had kept on incurring on his cards. Pithani further revealed that the servants had also told him that Rhea would order things at home on Sushant's cards.
According to Pithani, he had then talked about the same with Sushant and the latter had confronted Rhea about her expenses. Although, Pithani said he has no idea what conversation they had in private. However, after confronting Rhea, Sushant had told Pithani not to worry about those things anymore as Rhea takes care of everything at home, Pithani alleged. Pithani also told the news channel, "Sushant told me that I don't have to worry about the expenses & Rhea was taking care of everything."
According to Mumbai Mirror, Siddharth Pithani had earlier revealed that he's being pressurised by Sushant's family to speak against Rhea Chakraborty. Pithani had also sent an email to Mumbai Police alleging the same on July 28, 2020. According to Mumbai Mirror, quotes from Pithani's email could be read as "I was told I would receive a phone call, after which I received a call from an unknown WhatsApp number. But the call ended within 40 secs, and no statement was recorded. I am pressurised to comply and record statements against Rhea, the things which I am not aware of." On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput's family’s lawyer has laid claims that Rhea Chakraborty has gone into hiding. FYI, reports had come a few days ago alleging that Rhea is nowhere to be found or contacted. Her building manager had alleged that Rhea and her family had left in the middle of the night with big suitcases. Now, Lawyer Vikas Singh told Pinkvilla that he knows where Rhea is. He said, “Firstly, Rhea Chakraborty has gone into hiding. Of course, I know where she is hiding but I can’t tell you that right now. Patna Police cannot reach there because the senior officer (IPS officer Vinay Tiwari) who came to investigate the case from Patna, has already been quarantined in Mumbai. The earlier team that was already there, they are also trying to quarantine them. They are in fact on the lookout for the other officers from Bihar Police as well.
