Bollywood singer, Shweta Pandit had tied the knot with her Italian boyfriend, Ivano Fucci after dating for some time. She had gotten married to Ivano, who is an Italian film producer, in 2016, in an intimate ceremony. The news of her marriage was announced by her husband, Ivano on his Instagram handle where he had posted a picture of both of them donning garlands and he had mentioned in the caption that they were legally married. Singer Shweta Pandit, who was living in Italy for past few months, with husband, Ivano Fucci welcomed their firstborn in the month of February amidst the lockdown. The couple is blessed with a baby girl on February 8, 2020. In a conversation with the Times Of India, the couple revealed that they've named their little angle Izana. The 33-year-old singer said, "We’ve named her Izana, a name given as a title to the kind and compassionate monarchs in Ethiopia, and it means ‘most powerful’." Shweta further told that the name, Izana is a title to the kind and compassionate monarchs in Ethiopia. Shweta also said that she didn't share the good news earlier with anyone because of the Coronavirus situation across the world. Further in the conversation, Shweta also said, "It didn’t feel right to share our happiest news when everything around us was so difficult. The COVID-19 crisis in Italy was worse than it is in India currently." The singer expressed that they're hopeful that the lockdown will be lifted soon in Italy and hence they decided to share their happiness with everyone. Come to think of it, this global pandemic has affected and disrupted our lives to an extent that people are thinking twice before sharing a piece of good news with their loved ones. What bigger could be a moment than to embrace parenthood and welcome a little doll in their lives, and yet Shweta Pandit waited for a significant amount of time before sharing her joy with people!
Shweta has been living in Italy with husband for the past few months and she went on to state that she is missing her family and home, Mumbai terribly. She also shared how difficult it was to stay away from her family all through pregnancy and delivery. She emphasised that it was the most challenging part. Shweta further mentioned that she hadn't thought that she would be able to take care of a newborn but she is getting through the process and enjoying every bit of it.
