Mahhi Vij Shares She Is Proud Of Her C-Section Scar As She Narrates Her Body-Shaming Experience

Being a mommy is all about choosing to keep your baby before you. It is about falling in love with a soul you haven't yet met. The process of carrying and caring for a life that is completely dependant on you is the most beautiful experience a woman happily gets ready for. A mother might not say it loud but the fact is that motherhood is the hardest job in the world. Being a mother is a 'forever role', no matter how old your child is, they will always-always need you to get through a normal day. But still, there are few souls on this planet that love trolling a woman for their weight gain post-pregnancy. (Recommend Read: Kalki Koechlin Shares A Video Of Herself Singing A Portuguese Lullaby For Her Baby Doll, Sappho)

These are the people, who will pass judgements and will not think twice before body-shaming a woman, who just gave birth to a little human being. And celebrity moms are often the ones, who become the prime subject of these trollers. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Neha Dhupia, everyone had gone through body-shaming after giving birth. And now, television actress, Mahhi Vij opened up on her body-shaming experience post her pregnancy.

Mahhi Vij, who gave birth to a gorgeous little angel, Tara Jay Bhanushali, became the target of trollers. On April 28, 2020, Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and narrated her body-shaming experience. She posted a picture with her daughter, Tara and wrote, "Let’s get one thing straight, Body-shaming someone is never OK, even if the target is a public figure. However, despite the fact that this should be a universal rule of decorum, people are still prone to criticizing the appearances of others, including those of new moms. Even after my delivery people used to come to me and say things like you’d look gorgeous if you put down some weight! All I would say, don’t let these comments take a toll on you.. just eat right and let your body heal because you have just delivered a human out of your body!"

In her long note, Mahhi also revealed about her C-section scar which she is proud of, "! Love your body just the way it is.. I know it might bother you.. but it’s ok..you are beautiful just the way you are, with or without stretch marks or pregnancy scars. I have a c-section scar in my body and I’m proud of it. All we need is for someone to tell us we are doing great and we look okay. After all growing a baby, carrying them for nine months and then giving birth is the biggest change in a women's life and she needs all the kindness, power and positivity around her she can get." (Also Read: Rhea Chakraborty Has A Fiery Reaction To Alleged Beau, Sushant Singh Rajput's Workout Video)

She had shared a cute video and had expressed her feelings, "Today my daughter called me mumma.. Its v emotional day for me. This is what I prayed for, I must have done something nice in life to have become mother of such a beautiful child. Tara has filled my life with happiness. First-word MUMMA al I could do is cry with happiness... Tara, you have made your mumma more stronger more courageous n more giving. I never knew how much my heart cud swell until the first time I heard ‘mumma’ love u to the end of forever @tarajaybhanushali". (Don't Miss: 'Kumkum Bhagya' Fame, Shikha Singh Spills Beans On Her Pregnancy Cravings, Says She's Anxious)
