After cupid has hit so many celebrities in our telly land and B-town in the past few months, it is now time for us to give you some more good news. We all know the little superstar girl from the iconic film Makdee. We are talking about none other than the very talented and gorgeous Shweta Basu Prasad. This pretty Makdee actress' personal life is as interesting as the movies she has done. A famous entertainment portal got in touch with Basu, and the beauty admitted that she has been dating. Excited to know who the lucky guy is? Well, his name is Rohit Mittal and he is a budding filmmaker. All this while, Shweta had been evading all possible queries about her love life for a long time. This is what she shyly said, "Okay. Yes, we are dating and it’s been almost two years. We are in a happy space and enjoying our relationship. We haven’t thought about marriage but yes it’s going smooth. I met Rohit at Phantom Films and that’s how it all started." Awww! Here are some adorable lovey-dovey moments of the couple:
After they admitted about their relationship, their cute PDA moments do give couple goals to all the budding couples. In fact, on one of Shweta's birthday, her boyfriend Rohit was the host and threw a birthday party for his ladylove at Madh Island with their friends. He definitely made her birthday most special with this gesture, right? And for those who do not know, their love story is as filmi as her serial. As per the reports by TOI, Anurag Kashyap played the role of matchmaker for this cutesy couple. And it so happened that Rohit was working with Anurag as a script consultant at Phantom Films and that is when the two were introduced to each other. Soon, their professional relationship turned first into friendship and in no time, they fell in love with each other. This was during the time when the actress herself produced a short film, Interior Cafe Night and Rohit being a filmmaker helped her do it well. Also, the couple shares a common interest in travel and cinema. They keep sharing pictures on their official Instagram handles about their cosy moments during the travel and pictures of each other too, giving all their fans the glimpse of their cute PDA moments. On the work front, after Makdee and Iqbal, both movies in which Shweta worked as a child actor and won acclaim for her acting prowess, she did not star in any more famous Bollywood movies because her parents did not want her to focus on the glam world. Rather they wanted her to put her attention towards her studies. The beauty then went on to bag lead roles in various regional films like Bengali, Telugu and Tamil. Later, the pretty girl made her comeback into the world of acting with Ekta Kapoor’s Chandra Nandini in which she played a warrior princess, opposite Rajat Tokas who played the character of the fiery king Chandragupta Maurya.
We truly wish their relationship goes steady and stronger and wish that they both end up marrying being a 'happy couple'!
