The actress is currently in the headlines not because of her movies, but because of the beautiful fact that she and her husband, Andrei Koscheev, have become parents to a cute little baby girl. The actress had surprised her massive fanbase on October 11, 2021, after she had announced that they had been blessed with a baby girl back in 2020. The actress had dropped a cutesy video and had written, "Hello people, we had a crazy but the most beautiful 2020 quarantine. While the whole world was going through a beautiful turmoil, our world changed forever…. To a world full of adventures, excitement and learning. We are blessed to have an Angel in our life. We are so grateful to god!"

In an interview with ETimes, Shriya Saran opened up about her baby girl's name and revealed the unique name she had picked for her firstborn. The newbie mother stated that she had selected the name 'Radha' for her daughter and recalled her husband, Andrei Koscheev, to the name she had picked for their daughter. She said, "We have named her Radha. My husband Andrei loves the name."
Going further in the interview, when Shriya Saran was told to express her emotions after becoming a mother, the elated actress revealed that it feels like her baby girl has given birth to the mother inside her. Shriya also called her newborn baby her 'best friend'. She added, "My baby is 9-months-old, and I don't think that I could've hidden her any longer. She's already a well-travelled baby who has been to quite a few parts around the globe. I feel so happy; it's like a child has given birth to a mother. Radha is my best friend."

In the same interview, Shriya Saran also talked about the baby planning of their first child and revealed that she and her husband, Andrei Koscheev, had planned the birth of their first child. The actress also revealed that she had a normal delivery, and it was way too smooth. Recalling the same, Shriya said, "Radha was born in Barcelona. It's a planned baby. The world had come to an abrupt halt and we thought it was the best time to start a family. It was a normal delivery; it went off smoothly."
At the end of the interview, Shriya Saran also revealed that her mother is with her to take care of her daughter, Radha, whenever she's out for shooting. The actress explained, "I have sufficient help and support system. My mom is here; so it's not going to be tough to look after Radha while I'm shooting." Shriya also adds that she and her husband, Andrei Koscheev take turns in nights to look after their baby girl, Radha. She said, "Andrei and I take turns."

On the professional front, Shriya Saran is currently shooting for an untitled musical film, alongside Sharman Joshi.
