Shreyas Talpade is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. He rose to fame with his pathbreaking performance in the film, Iqbal in 2005, which set him apart from the remaining league of actors. Consecutively, he appeared in several other films, including Apna Sapna Money Money, Dor, Golmaal Returns, Welcome To Sajjanpur, Golmaal 3 amongst others. Behind his on-screen comic characters, Shreyas, in his personal life, is a doting husband to wife, Deepti. Recently, the actor grabbed attention for suffering a heart attack and getting an angioplasty done.
Taking to her IG handle, Shreyas Talpade’s wife, Deepti dropped an array of picture notes, as she announced that her husband has been discharged home all hail and hearty. The star-wife expressed her heartfelt emotions on getting the love of her life back with her and also shared her gratitude for all the staff and doctors, his well-wishers and fans who kept Shreyas in their thoughts and prayers. An excerpt from her note can be read as:
“My life, Shreyas, is back home… Safe and sound. Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and warm wishes. Your messages have been my pillar of strength. I may not have replied individually, but each one is deeply appreciated. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

It was back on December 15, 2023, when a report by Hindustan Times informed about Shreyas Talpade having suffered a heart attack. The actor, who was shooting in Mumbai, was absolutely fine throughout the day and it was only that he returned home when he started complaining about uneasiness. When his wife took him to the hospital, he collapsed on the way. The report quoted:
“He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way.”

In one of his previous interviews with Bollywood Bubble, Shreyas Talpade talked about the lows in his career and revealed facing many dire situations of financial struggle. He mentioned doubting his identity as an actor, as he would constantly wait for his pay check. In his words:
“When you don’t know where your paycheck is going to come from, when is it going to come and what is the next kind of work that you’re going to do. You start thinking about it, you start doubting whether you are in the right profession. Whether you should do something else but like I said there were times when someone would come up and help you out or out of the blue. There used to be some kind of project that would come your way. Certain projects which I did never released for whatever reason.”
