Shreya Kalra Breaks Silence On Ram Kapoor Kissing Her Without Consent, 'Mera Baap Chummi...'

After Bigg Boss 19, Lock Upp 2 has emerged as the daily dose of entertainment and gossip. From renowned Indian television stars like Shivangi Joshi and Ram Kapoor to reality show fame, Akanksha Choudhary and Pamela Serena, the show is full of unique characters who have added distinct spice to Lock Upp 2. Recently, Ram Kapoor's behaviour has sparked intense scrutiny after fellow contestant Shreya Kalra pointed out his alleged habit of being unnecessarily affectionate with people.

Why did Shreya Kalra blast Ram Kapoor for his behaviour in Lock Upp 2?

In the latest episode of Lock Upp 2, Shreya Kalra publicly accused her co-contestant Ram Kapoor of crossing personal boundaries. She vented her frustration to Shilpa Shinde in the locker room about the 52-year-old Ram kissing her on the forehead and later on her cheeks after he won a task. Shreya further alleged that Ram tried the same thing with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Shivangi Joshi. However, his attempt failed as Shivangi's close confidant in Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, Harshad Chopda stood for her.

As per the 30-year-old Shreya, Harshad asked Ram to back off when he tried to get too close to Shivangi Joshi, and the latter apologised for his behavior. Shreya told Shilpa Shinde that the Bade Achhe Lagte Hai actor speaks to people so closely that he unknowingly spits in their faces. Her exact words were:

"When Shivangi was doing her task, Ram sir came very close to her. So Harshad said, don't come so close. As soon as he moved, he said, 'sorry.' What sorry? That man comes and spits (when he speaks). Say it to his face. He literally spit all over the fucking place."

Shreya Kalra claimed that Ram has no sense of boundaries and always crosses the line when it comes to skinship. She even furiously told Shilpa that if he tries to get close to her again, she will hold his mouth, shove him away, telling him that even her father doesn't kiss her that often. Expressing discomfort regarding Ram Kapoor's physical proximity and repeated affectionate gestures, Shreya mentioned:

"Maintain some boundaries. And this time, if he tries to fu**ing kiss me, I'm gonna hold his mouth and be like, 'Itna toh mera baap chummi nahi karta hai mujhe, ab mat kariyo.'"

Previous instances of Ram Kapoor's non-consensual kissing

In a previous episode of Lock Upp 2, a particular incident involving Ram Kapoor left many in disgust. In the widely cultivated clip, Ram was seen kissing 25-year-old Varun Yadav's cheeks. Then, he went on to have another kiss by putting his hand on him and forcibly kissing him on his lips. This left Yogest Rawat, Sunita Ahuja and Shivangi Joshi laughing. The netizens were extremely shocked by the incident and expressed their disappointment.

Right after the forced kissing, Varun took a dig at Ram's previous remark that cheating is not a deal breaker in marriage. Varun sarcastically stated that this man cheats even at the age of 40, and he kisses people. Following that, Akanksha Chamola told Varun to accept that he was not homophobic. As soon as the video surfaced, netizens blasted Ram Kapoor for his act.

One user wrote, "So true, this man has this weird attitude and superiority complex.. he is the real badtameez I mean did y'all see the way he talks to the hosts of the show??? Absolutely disgusting, and this act was so uncomfortable even to watch. We should definitely call this out." Another alleged that Ram Kapoor once kissed Karan Singh Grover without his consent as well, "when he was married to Shraddha."
