One of the most sought-after and loved singers of Indian cinema, Shreya Ghoshal has mesmerised millions with her soulful voice. The singer had gotten married to her childhood sweetheart, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya on February 5, 2015, in a traditional Bengali ceremony in the presence of her close friends and family. And it was a few days back, when Shreya had announced the happiest news of her pregnancy.

On March 4, 2021, Shreya had announced the happiest news of her life. After 6 years of marital bliss, Shreya and her hubby, Shiladitya are expecting their first child together. Taking to her IG handle, Shreya had posted a picture, where she could be seen wearing a blue dress, holding her baby bump and looking at it with utmost love. Sharing the picture, she had shared that she is excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had written, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
On March 23, 2021, Shreya Ghoshal’s mother, Sarmistha Ghoshal turned 60 and the loving daughter took to her IG handle and shared an adorable wish for her. Sharing pictures from the celebrations, Shreya wrote, “It’s Ma’s 60th birthday! Wow! She doesn’t look na. Meri pyaari Ma be always healthy & happy so I can continue to get pampered by you and I can pamper you back! And.... you are soon gonna be a grandma, how exciting!!!!” In the pictures, Shreya looked adorable as she flaunted her pregnancy glow and her baby bump was unmissable.

In an interview with ETimes, Shreya had talked about her pregnancy and how her husband, Shiladitya has been taking care of her. She had said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish.” She had further added, “Shiladitya has been taking care of my health, mood swings and cravings. We wanted to plan this for a long time, but it's only now that we finally got a break from our crazy work schedules to give it the right amount of focus and love. We are nervous and excited at the same time. It’s all so new to us.”

Sharing how her parents are pampering her and her pet, Sherlocks’ reaction to her pregnancy, she had said, “My mom and dad are pampering me a lot. All my bizarre food cravings at odd hours are lovingly taken care of by them. They are so excited about becoming grandparents. Soumyadeep, my brother with whom I released a song recently, has been so caring. My in-laws, too, are very loving and supportive. My pet, Sherlock, seems to be very curious about all that is happening around him. He can probably sense he is getting a sibling soon.”
On February 5, 2021, Shreya and Shiladitya had completed six years of marital bliss. To wish her hubby, Shreya had taken to her IG handle and had wished him with some adorable pictures. Along with the pictures, she had written, “Happy 6th anniversary to us #Shreyaditya. Every time you walk in to the room, I still get butterflies. I love you.”
