Why do we live in a world where we are asked to choose between people, especially the ones that are closest to us? Why is it hard for people to understand the concept of co-existence? A married guy is always considered to be swaying between his parents and wife, and is often questioned about the same. However, people fail to understand that people have grown up and no more the situation is like the one shown in daily soaps. A guy’s parents and wife can happily live together and there will never be a need for him to take sides and choose between them. TV actor, Shoaib Ibrahim is a great example of this as his parents and wife love and respects each other equally. Dipika Kakar had met Shoaib Ibrahim on the sets of their show, Sasural Simar Ka. Shoaib was swooned by Dipika and her grounded nature, and performing the role of reel life couple, the two had fallen in love with each other for real. The couple had tied the knot on February 22, 2018, in a nikaah ceremony accepting each other for life. Since then, Dipika has happily accepted Shoaib’s family as her own family and they all are living happily together. But, there will always be people, who cannot stop themselves from their crazy imaginations.
Shoaib has been quite active on his IG handle and often hosts an ‘ask me anything’ session to interact with his fans. And like always, his fans in the quest of knowing more about him, ask him some inappropriate questions. On August 17, 2020, in an ‘ask me anything’ session, Shoaib was bombarded with questions about his family, favourite things and some even asked advices from him. Out of the lot, a fan ended up asking if he would have to choose between his wife, Dipika and parents, whom he would choose. Shoaib hit back at him with a rather savage reply, which can be read as “Aap befikr rahiye aise situation kabhi nahi aayegi. Khayali sawal karne hain toh thoda achcha kuch puch lijiye.”
This is not the first time, when Shoaib has been asked in apt questions by his fans. This has become more of a routine for Shoaib now to give savage replies. Once a fan had asked Shoaib, "If Dipika Kakar gives equal time to her parents as in-laws." To which, he had replied, "I am proud of the balance that she maintains." In another session, Shoaib was asked, "Deepika Ji hamesha Salwar suit mein kyun hoti hai kya... aapki family force karti hai?" This question had not gone well with Shoaib and he had retaliated saying, "iska jawab main aapko dena zaroori nahi samjhta. Sach main janta hu meri wife janti ....baki jiski jaisi soch waise hi sawal upar wala aapko khush rakhe". Another time, a fan had asked “Aap baby KB pan karoge...Sorry ye aapki prsnl lyf he BT mera maan hua puchne ka isliye puch liya.” To which, the television actor had replied that “Jab pata hai personal hai toh puchna hi kyu.” Once a fan had asked, “Please let me your wife is hind ya Muslims”. The actor had replied, “Insaan achchi hai kya sirf itna hi kafi nahi hai”. Take a look:
Shoaib and Dipika had a light-hearted conversation with The Indian Express, where they had talked at length about their relationship and what they love, hate and tolerate about each other. To which, Dipika had replied, “I love about him is the way he carries his relationships be it with his family, with his friends, you know. He just takes them together and walks ahead. So, that is what I love about him. What I hate about him is not something that I would like to discuss about openly. And what I tolerate about him is his phone. Kabhi mujhe mauka mile na to main ise dustbin mein daal ke aa jaungi. On the same question, the doting hubby, Shoaib had revealed, “Love, puri. Hate kya bolu, ye jab b mujhe irritate karti hai na tab. Kbahi kabhi mera man hota hai Dipika nahi yar. Tolerate ka iska aisa kuch bhi nai hai. Ye kabhi koi aisi cheez nai karti hai. Lekin haan kabhi kabhi iska gussa. Thora sa”. His wife, Dipika had interrupted and had said, “Ab to nai hoga.
