Falling in love is definitely one of the most amazing feelings in this world but more than that falling for the right person is all that matters. And it stands true in the case of TV actors, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar. Giving a perfect example of couple goals, Dipika and Shoaib are a match made in heaven. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s love story is nothing less than a fairytale. They had met on the sets of their show, Sasural Simar Ka and had become good friends. Their friendship had eventually turned into love and the two had fallen head-over-heels in love with one another. It was on February 22, 2018, when Dipika had added Ibrahim to her name after their nikaah. Since then, the couple has been treating their fans with their adorable pictures and videos. From celebrating birthdays to festivals, Dipika and Shoaib never leave an opportunity to shower love on each other.
On January 1, 2021, Shoaib took to his IG stories and hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session with his fans. When one of his fans showed his interest in marrying his wife, Dipika and told him, “Ask Dipika to marry me”, Shoaib’s reply won our hearts. Being his savage self, Shoaib wrote, “Bhai is janam mein to meri ho chuki hai…agar next birth hota hai toh kuch achche karam karna tab Dipika jaisi inshallah koi mil jaayegi kyuki Dipika to tab bhi meri hi hogi.” Shoaib’s reply proved how doting a husband he is!
A few months back, Shoaib Ibrahim had taken to his IG handle and had hosted an ‘Ask me anything’ session. During the session, a fan had asked Shoaib, which on-screen character ‘Simar or Sonakshi’ played by Dipika was his favourite and his reply had won our hearts. In an interview with the Indian Express, Dipika had talked at lengths about her relationship with Shoaib. When asked what was that one thing, she loves about Shoaib, Dipika had stated that she loves the way he values each and every relationship in his life. Be it his family, friends or even co-actors, Shoaib is somebody, who treats everyone with the same respect. He does not differentiate between people and takes everyone along and walks ahead.
On August 6, 2020, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had turned 34. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared pictures of Shoaib feeding cake to her along with a heart-melting note. Her note could be read as “Yesss this has to be my first post!!! From always pampering me to making me feel extra special you have done it all!!! however, I could never imagine you stepping into the kitchen! and now you’ve done this. Thank uuuuuuuu @shoaib2087 for making this beautiful cake for me all by urself.... its the best cake for me of all my birthdays so far... and this has made this birthday super special for me.”
On October 23, 2020, Shoaib had taken to his IG handle and had shared a mesmerising pool picture with his ladylove, Dipika. In the picture, Shoaib had hugged his joru while she held a cup in her hand. Along with the picture, Shoaib had revealed how chai had played an important role in their love and had written, “Chai se ishq tha hume, Tumhare saath peekar tumse bhi ho gaya” followed by a heart emoticon.
