Shoaib Ibrahim is one of the most loved actors in the Indian television space. The actor enjoys a massive fanbase, courtesy of his acting chops and charming personality. Currently, the actor is riding high professionally, as he is part of a daily soap opera, as well as a contestant in the reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. In his personal life, Shoaib is married to actress, Dipika Kakar and the duo recently welcomed their son, Ruhaan into their lives.
In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about his new responsibilities as a father, after the birth of his son, Ruhaan. The actor mentioned that ever since he became a part of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, he has been spending a little less time with his wife and son. However, he credited his wifey, Dipika for effortlessly handling all his responsibilities, along with those of her. Praising his wife for doing everything right after her delivery, Shoaib mentioned:
“The way Dipika has taken all the responsibilities, I don't feel the pressure or guilt. I'm only able to manage things because of her. She's taking care of everything without a trace of stress on her face. She never makes me feel that she is doing a lot. Because for a woman, it is very difficult after delivering a baby. A lady's life changes completely after giving birth.”

Further in the conversation, Shoaib also spilt beans on adapting to a new phase of his life after he became a father. He mentioned that in the name of daddy duties, he hasn’t been able to help much, especially after his new participation in the dance-based reality show. However, Shoaib added that he has learnt to give their son, Ruhaan a burp after his meals and, at the same time, he is not very comfortable about changing his son's diapers. In his words:
“Honestly, right now, I can't help much. But before Jhalak, I used to make sure to accompany Dipika during sleepless nights so that she doesn't feel alone. I used to be just present, whenever the baby was cranky. At times, I'd help the baby get burp. I am still not comfortable with changing diapers.”
Currently, Shoaib Ibrahim is busy with a lot of work commitments. However, being a newbie daddy, it isn’t exactly what everyone would want. Elaborating more on it, Shoaib mentioned that on the contrary, he isn’t feeling guilty about not spending time with his son, Ruhaan, as he believes that everyone desires to work. Moreover, he added that whenever he misses his son, he video calls back home and sometimes, his wifey, Dipika also visits his shooting sets.

In the concluding note of the interview, Shoaib spoke about the massive change in his life, after the birth of his son, Ruhaan. He highlighted how he has made it his life’s motto now to make his son proud of his work and emphasised having a stronger sense of responsibility in himself. In his words:
“Now, my life's motto is to do things that will leave my son proud when he grows up. Now, I always wish to return home to see my son. At times, Dipika comes with Ruhaan to Jhalak rehearsals. After Ruhaan's arrival, we feel complete as a family. I just hope and pray that Allah usko nazar se bachaye aur hifazat kare.”
