Remember inspector Hanuman Pandey from SAB TV’s show FIR, opposite Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala? Well, guess what? He is married now in real life. Yes actor, Shiv Pandit, who essayed that role perfectly, and is a household name now, got hitched to long-time girlfriend, Ameira Punvani who is a costume designer and stylist.
In an extremely close-knit affair, Shiv Pandit and Ameira Punvani, tied the nuptial knot on May 09, 2018 in Mumbai itself. The news of their wedding took no time to spread when Ameira’s close friend and Bollywood director, Zoya Akhtar shared it on her Instagram handle. She captioned the post, “Congratulations Ameira and Shiv #justmarried #loveisintheair #happygirlsaretheprettiest @mspunvanity @shiv_pandit”. Zoya shared the following picture in which we can see Shiv removing Ameira’s ghoonghat and the newbie bride is smiling, all elated:

Speaking of Virat and Anushka’s wedding, when Ameira and Shiv were invited for Virushka’s reception, Shiv took to his Instagram and thanked Virushka and also his girlfriend, Ameira for being there and joked about his now-wife. He wrote, “Thank you @anushkasharma & @virat.kohli for making me a part of your big day! Had a great time being there and wish you both lots of love & happiness, always. So glad I got this lovely picture taken while I was there with @mspunvanity, where for the first time she is not looking like my daughter!”.
The two, time and again, appreciate each other's works on social media. For instance, Ameira congratulated Shiv on Instagram when two of Shiv’s films were screened at MAMI. Ameira wrote, “@shiv_pandit take a bow - two films back to back at #MAMI #well done #posing was a must”. Along with this caption, she posted this picture:
For the uninitiated ones, Shiv Pandit gained recognition when he appeared in the 2011 film, Shaitan. Today he is one of the recognised actors on TV. He also co-owns, Chandigarh Cubs cricket team in the Box Cricket League (BCL) along with actress Anita Hassanandani. Ameira, on the other hand, is quite at the centre of Bollywood’s fashion world and the coterie of fashion designers. Her last Bollywood project as a costume designer was for Ileana D’ Cruz‘s role in the movie, Raid.
Well, it seems both the wifey and hubby are now in a comfortable position in their respective careers, and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that their marriage had been coming for sure. We wish Shiv Pandit and Ameira Punvani a very happy married life.
