Shilpa Shetty Kundra is an epitome of grace, beauty and positivity. Throughout all the ups and downs of her life, Shilpa had maintained her calm and never let any negative thoughts affect her. The mindful yogi, who enjoyed a huge fandom in the 90s got married to one of her admirers, Raj Kundra, a London-based businessman, in 2009.
Shilpa and Raj embraced parenthood for the first time in 2012, with the arrival of their baby boy, Viaan Raj Kundra. Eight years later, Viaan had become a big brother when Shilpa and Raj had welcomed their second child, Samisha, via surrogacy. Shilpa had gone through the toughest phases of her life in 2021, after her husband, Raj Kundra's arrest for his alleged involvement in pornography. However, the diva stood like a rock for her family.

On September 9, 2022, Raj Kundra turned a year older and his doting wifey, Shilpa penned a heartfelt birthday wish for her man. She took to her IG handle and shared a photo montage with some beautiful memories. Along with it, she penned:
“For a million memories to cherish, For all our happy days, For a family to call ‘mine’, For your loving & goofy ways…I’m thankful that you’re my bestest friend, the father of my children, my love, and my strength. Happy birthday, my Cookie…Here’s wishing you more strength, health, protection, and all in abundance… always.”
On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Shilpa held a beautiful Ganpati puja at her home. She had taken to her IG handle on September 5, 2022, and dropped a family portrait. Twinning in printed outfits, Shilpa and Raj posed for the picture with their kids, Viaan and Samisha. Raj had shelled out major daddy vibes as he was seen pampering Samisha. Alongside it, she had penned:
“Life’s greatest blessing… Family.”

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shilpa had talked about the difficult time for her family after Raj’s arrest and how she had overcome it. Stating that even during the whole fiasco, her kids, Viaan and Samisha were the purpose of her life. In her words:
"I have always believed that in life, you have to find a purpose. Even in the chaos, my purpose was my children and will always be them. Stepping out in difficult times, with a brave front, to go back to work was only to show my kids, [especially my son] because he is at an age where he understands things."
