Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a name that doesn’t need any introduction in Bollywood. The actress has carved an unparalleled stardom in her career spanning decades and there are no doubts about it. From her terrific acting chops to perfectly enviable physique and gorgeous looks, Shilpa has always found a way to mesmerise her audiences. In her personal life, she is married to businessman, Raj Kundra and the duo is blessed with a son, Viaan and a daughter, Samisha.
In an interview with ETimes, Shilpa Shetty opened up about her son, Viaan Raj Kundra and revealed that the 12-year-old boy has already followed her footsteps into fitness and has already built abs. Revealing how her little one prioritises the gym over his homework, the doting mommy revealed:
“He's got my genes… Thank God. Yesterday, I asked him if he finished his homework... he is going to be 12 in May and you know what he said to me? 'Yes mama, I went to the gym'. I said 'You better finish your homework! Gym ke liye bohut time hai.”

In the same conversation, Shilpa then took pride in her son, Viaan and remarked how much she is glad to learn that he has inculcated fitness in his life. Moreover, she added that her son has seen his parents dedicatedly spend time at the gym and thus has become inspired for the same. In her words:
“He's a very beautiful soul. I think he sees Raj and me working out. So, it's inculcated in his subconscious that that is important. He (Raj) has also worked a lot on himself I think it's important to evolve and be a better version of yourself. And I'm so happy that health and fitness is taken very seriously in my home.”
Previously, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, Shilpa Shetty Kundra retrospected on her career so far and remarked how it is only now that she feels enjoying the best phase of the same. She recalled starting her career as a mere 17-year-old girl and working hard ceaselessly to achieve whatever she has done so far. Shilpa added having witnessed some of the most dynamic situations in her life, be it the swooping highs or the lowest time of all.

The Kundra family has witnessed some of the most testing times in the past, especially when Raj Kundra got arrested over an adult film racket case. While the entrepreneur faced the brunt of the trial, the times were equally difficult for his family back home. In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Raj Kundra credited his wife, Shilpa for taking care of the family back home and especially handling their son, Viaan who was quite grown up to question the things that were happening at that time. He had said:
“My daughter is too young to read stuff online, but my son is now 11… I am his hero. He trusts me, has faith in me. We tell him not to be worried, he is not on social media, so he won’t read comments. But you know friends talk… But I also know that at that age there is unity. He did ask Shilpa what happened, why, and how. She gave him an appropriate answer to give to an 11-year-old.”
