The year 2020 is proving to be the worst year, all thanks to a highly contagious virus which has taken over 1 lakh lives till now. In the middle of all the coronavirus chaos, our kids are the one, who are suffering the most as they are now confined to the walls of their home for over 45 days. In these testing times, it is important for parents to brush their multitasking skills and create activities that include their little ones and keeps them busy. And Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a perfect example of it as she is making sure to create special and happy memories of these scary times, in the mind of her 7-year-old son, Viaan Raj Kundra. Shilpa is making sure to spend all her time with her son, Viaan so that he doesn't get bored amidst the lockdown. In fact, she often inspires her Instagram family by sharing tips and tricks to keep kids entertained.
On May 7, 2020, Shilpa took to her Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of how she is spending quarantine with her munchkin, Viaan. She shared a note for all the parents and urged them to explore their imagination and work on activities with your kids. She posted a video of baking peanut butter choco-oat cookies with Viaan. In the video, we can see Viaan taking an utmost interest in all the steps of baking and he looked like a perfect helper for his mommy. Check out the video below:
Shilpa alongside wrote a long caption that can be read as "The best way to spend time with your kids is to figure out what they like doing the most. Then go ahead & do it with them... build pillow forts, draw, paint, sing or dance! As for me, the one thing Viaan loves doing the most is baking, so here we go... presenting the chewy “Peanut Butter Choco-Oat Cookies”! It has no refined sugar, can be dairy-free if you skip the butter for oil, is gluten-free, & loaded with healthy goodness. It’s highly nutritious, is absolutely satiating, and can be gorged on at tea time by us too (I devoured this batch)."
Earlier, Shilpa had shared her son, Viaan's baking journey over the years. The mother-son duo had even baked the yummiest chocolate cake. The actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared the baking journey which she had started with Viaan. Along with it, she had written, "Spending time with Viaan usually entails a baking/cooking session once a week. He loves to experiment and whip up healthy, easy-to-make recipes in his free time. We use this heart-shaped mould to show it’s made with love... This time around, we baked the gluten-free “chocolate heart cake” with coconut sugar, celebrating this time together. Bake the quarantine blues away. Every day well spent. Since I have more time on hand, I found these pics from the past to show how time flies, but something’s don’t change. For those who don't know, Shilpa's entire family is filled with bakers. We remember when Shilpa's little angel, Samisha had completed 40 days, her daddy, Raj Kundra had baked a special cake. The actress had shared a video of the same and had written, "Every day seems like a Sunday, but I only binge on the REAL Sunday. This one is special! Samisha Shetty Kundra completes 40 days and celebration calls for cake. But since all shops were closed @rajkundra9 decided to make a Vanilla Meringue cake. The sponge was made by me and Viaan ate a slice of the cake before the meringue came on, hence it looks incomplete. But the whole process made the celebration completely worthwhile.
