Shilpa Shetty is extremely protective of Shamita Shetty, who is three years younger to her and has always been her guide and supporter. We have often seen how the two make sure to treat us with their adorable pictures and their camaraderie is loved by their fans. To celebrate Christmas and New Year, the Shetty sisters had jetted off to Goa with their family and had a gala time there. A few days back, Shilpa had shared a glimpse of her twinning moment with Shamita from their Goa diaries and it was adorable. Sharing a Boomerang with Shamita on her IG handle, Shilpa had written, “Twinning, Winning, Grinning: OBVIOUSLY! Making the most of the vacation with my Tunki.”
A few hours back, Shamita Shetty took to her IG handle and shared a lovely video of Shilpa Shetty dancing her heart out with her. In the video, Shilpa looked happy as she put her best foot forward on the song, Badan pe sitara with her favourite dance partner 'tunki', Shamita. Along with the video, which was all about sisters' love, Shamita wrote, “Not sure what got into munki but she will forever be my favourite dance partner!! Love ya @theshilpashetty #munkiandtunki #sisterhood #loveislove #goadiaries #instadaily.”
In an interview with the DNA, Shamita had revealed that she always asks for her sister, Shilpa's advise. She had shared, "Anything I take up or do, I have to consult Shilpa. From what I wear to who I am dating, I make her a part of everything as I have faith in her judgment. But when this came along, I had already made up my mind and told her about it. She was happy because she knew that I wanted to get back to acting. I don’t think I really got a chance to do enough of that." Admitting that she was insecure of her sister, Shamita Shetty when she had debuted in Bollywood with Mohabbatein, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had confessed, "I always felt she's the better looking sister, the fairer one. She's a better actress and a dancer. So I'll admit this for the first time on this show that when she debuted, I did feel that nobody would give me work anymore after that." Speaking of her struggle, Shamita had stated, "In school, I was this girl who was athletic and good at sports. When I entered the film industry, it was suddenly different. It was a struggle to find my own identity. I knew about comparisons but the media was really harsh on me."
