Shekhar Suman is an Indian actor, anchor, and producer. He made his acting debut with the film, Utsav in 1984. Later, he went on to work in films like Manav Hatya, Naache Mayuri, Sansar, Anubhav Tridev, Ranbhoomi and more. Apart from being an amazing actor, Shekhar is a complete family man. He is a loving husband to Alka Suman, and he never leaves a chance to shower love on his dearest wife. Recently, the actor gifted an expensive car to his wife on their wedding anniversary and proved his love for her.
In an interview with ETimes, Shekhar Suman opened up about giving an expensive anniversary gift to his wifey, Alka Suman on their anniversary. Talking about the same, the actor stated every year, he gifts something special to his wife on their anniversary, and this year he wanted to give her a car. He also revealed how he found the perfect gift for Alka in BMW i7 and said:
"I decided to give a beautiful car to my wife on our wedding anniversary because I just wanted to be chivalrous, As they say when a man opens the door, either the wife is new or the car is new. Every year on our anniversary, I gift her something and this time I was looking and I found a BMWi7."

In the same conversation, Shekhar also revealed how he visualised his wife, Alka sitting in the car, which gave him the ultimate happiness. Talking about the same, the actor stated that he always thanks God for providing him with enough to fulfil his family's wishes. Shekhar also mentioned that he just wanted to do his best for his family, even if he had to travel in an auto. In his words:
"I just visualised my wife sitting in it and I wanted to express my gratitude to God for giving me everything in a way that I could afford the best for my family. I don't care if I have to travel in an auto or metro but my family should always have the best."
Further, in the same conversation, Shekhar revealed that his son, Adhyayan Suman is also planning to give his mom, Alka an expensive car. Talking about the same, the actor stated that his son is planning to gift her a Phantom, so it's going to be a tough competition between him and Adhyayan. Expressing gratitude to God for providing him and his son enough so that they can fulfil their loved one's wishes, Shekhar said:
"Now my son is thinking of giving his mom a phantom, so it's going to be a competition between the father and son, and I hope he wins so that I can travel in both. God has given me and my son enough opportunities to not only buy things for ourselves but for all the people we love."

For the unversed, on May 4, 2023, Shekhar Suman and his wifey, Alka Suman will celebrate their 40th wedding ceremony. However, the actor surprised his darling wifey before their anniversary by gifting her an expensive BMWi7 worth Rs. 2.4 crore. On April 27, 2023, Shekhar and his son, Adhyayan had taken to their respective Instagram handles and dropped the picture of their brand new car in a collaborative post. In the photo, they could be seen kissing their grey-hued car. Along with the picture, Adhyayan had written:
"Congratulations mom and dad on your anniversary specially mom on your special gift from dad ! on day I shall gift u rolls ! God give me strength and blessings."
