‘Husband and wife’- these two distinct terms invoke a feeling of responsibility and belongingness. Sharing each other’s joy and sorrows, becoming each other’s pillar of strength even when the world is against you, taking care of one another’s need for a lifetime, raising a little life together and making memories with each other, there is a reason why husband and wife are denoted as 'jeevan saathi'. Adhering to all of the above description of an ideal husband and wife, television couple, Sharad Kelkar and Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar are sheer exemplars! If you happen to scroll through their Instagram handles and dive deeper into their PDA-filled pictures, it will be difficult for you to guess as to whose account you are actually looking at! Why do we say so? Tonnes of adorable pictures of Keerti Kelkar and Sharad Kelkar will flash on your screen as you say, “Just look at them!” and make hand-hearts! On Valentine’s Day 2019, Sharad Kelkar had taken to Instagram and posting a lovey-dovey picture of himself with his beautiful wife, Keerti and giving her a peck on her cheek, wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day baaabuuuu..uuu@keertikelkar #valentinesday2019 #love #us #happiness.”
And then came about a recent activity of Sharad Kelkar for his wife, Keerti Kelkar which gave us one out of the many 100 reasons to swoon over him! Sharad recently posted a video of himself, singing the evergreen romantic song, Hamein Tumse Pyar Kitna, with full feel, for his lovely wife, Keerti. What looked like it, Sharad is a pro at singing though he captioned his picture as, “Some impromptu singing by yours truly #singing #kishorkumar #romance #love #kudrat for you mam @keertikelkar.” Here is the video that blew our mind (and we bet Keerti’s too!) away:
Sharad Kelkar and Keerti Kelkar had gotten married in 2005 and have been happily living ever since. It was on February 07, 2014, when Sharad and Keerti welcomed their first child, a baby daughter, Kesha Kelkar. In a 2017 interview with PTI, Keerti had shared how proud she is, of her star hubby, “I am very proud of Sharad. He has grown and become a fine actor. He does have what excites him. He tries to experiment and do different stuff. But now I want the focus on me and I have told him no more talking about your work, talk about my show and me.” (Also Read: Hina Khan's Beau Rocky Jaiswal Patiently Shopping For Her In London Is Every Girl's Expectations)
A throwback TellyChakker report contained a page from the personal diary of Sharad Kelkar, wherein he had written about the life-changing moment of his life. The Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai actor had shared, “Hello readers!!! I am Sharad Kelkar whom people relate as Dr Ashutosh in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment Television. The life changing moment for me was when I got married to Keerti.” How sweet is that!
Do you know, Sharad Kelkar had lent his voice for Prabhas in Bahubali 2: The Conclusion? While he might be reaching great heights in his professional life by working in multilingual films all at once, Sharad had once revealed that his star wife, Keerti Kelkar didn’t consider him to be a good actor in the initial days! Yes, recalling the same, Sharad had shared in an interview, “I remember doing my first scene with her. She told me much later that she thought I could never be a good actor. It is because of what I have learnt from her that I am a better actor today. My wife can read 20 pages at a glance. I can never learn my lines as well as her. She is the one who taught me to how learn lines. She is my best critic.” But wifey, Keerti’s opinion about her hubby has changed now as Sharad had himself revealed, “She says she was wrong then!”
Sharad Kelkar and Keerti Kelkar had welcomed their daughter, Kesha Kelkar into their lives after 9 years of marriage. Speaking about the delay in an interview, Keerti had shared, “But we turned a deaf ear. In India when you have been married for five to six years, the whole world and its aunt wants to know why you don’t have a baby yet. But I was in no rush.” The doting mommy had further added, “Halle Berry became a mother at 42. Women are having children late. I delivered my baby at 35. We were busy making our careers.” (Also Read: Sharad Malhotra And Ripci Bhatia's Wedding Card Is Out, It Has An Interesting Eating Snack Inside)
