'Shamshera' Actor, Ranbir Kapoor Admitted His Father, Late Rishi Kapoor Was A Big Bully In Real-Life

Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor is not on any social media platform, which is the reason why his massive fandom and media wait anxiously for his films because that's the only time when he got to see him speaking and interacting. Otherwise, he mostly prefers to avoid interviews and chit-chat with the paparazzi during his public appearances. Luckily, it is that golden time for the fans of Ranbir, as he is actively promoting his upcoming film, Shamshera, in which he is going to portray the character of a dacoit. No wonder the stakes are high for this one, as the actor will be seen in a completely different avatar in this film.

On the personal front, on April 14, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had tied the marital knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at the former's residence. The actor praised the filmmaker for believing in his own ideas and not getting influenced by the inputs of others. Ranbir also recalled his father, late Rishi Kapoor's way of working with the directors and called him a 'big bully'. Explaining the reason behind it, Ranbir stated that his father used to test the character of a filmmaker by questioning his ideas. In his words:

"My father was always a big bully, and he used to test his directors. If he comes on too strong and the director doesn't hold his own and agrees to everything he says, he knows he has to take over the project."
