Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are having the best time of their lives on the personal and professional fronts. Counted amongst the most sought-after couple, Ranbir and Alia are super excited as they are soon going to begin the best phase of their lives, i.e., parenthood. And every now and then, there are a lot of updates regarding their pregnancy.
It was on April 14, 2022, when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had taken their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony. Two months post their wedding, Alia gave a sweet surprise to everyone, when she announced the news of her pregnancy. Ever since Alia had announced her pregnancy, a lot of speculations are doing the rounds around the same.

In an interview with Film Companion, Ranbir Kapoor talked at length about Masai Mara, the place where he proposed to his ladylove, Alia Bhatt. Talking about the same, he said:
“There is no internet, there is no television. You are in the middle of the jungle, so you are going to feel like an alien. You’re going to wake up at 4:30 in the morning everyday. You’re just going to have a coffee or a tea if you want, and you’re going to drive for four hours. There’s going to be a lot of this while you’re driving (mimics a shaky journey), but while all this is happening, the breeze is beautiful, you’re in nature.”
In the same interview, the soon-to-be-daddy shared his eagerness to take their child to the national reserve and stated:
“You’re seeing wild animals wake up, wild animals who’ve just made some killing, who are eating their food, who are going to sleep. There are animals who are alert, thinking that there’s a predator who’s going to come. There is tension, there is beauty. It’s just everything. It’s what life is, you just experience it… I can’t wait to take my child to Maasai Mara. I cannot wait.”

For the unversed, Masai Mara is a national reserve in Kenya where Ranbir and Alia went for a holiday and at the same place, he popped the million-dollar question to her. When Alia Bhatt appeared on Koffee With Karan, she talked about Ranbir Kapoor’s proposal and her surprise over the same. Stating that she was not expecting it, the actress had shared:
“In terms of Ranbir and his planning, he totally blew my mind away because I was not expecting it. We were not even talking about it. We were talking about it for a very long time but then there were so many pandemic delays, that we decided we won’t talk about it. We’ll just go with feeling. And that’s exactly what he did. He didn’t tell anyone. He just carried the ring and he did it in the most amazing place, Maasai Mara.”
