Bollywood actor, Shakti Kapoor is the most famous and funniest villains of the 90s. He had fallen in love with Shivangi Kohlapure and had decided to marry her. However, coming from a conservative family, Shivangi couldn't convince her family for their wedding. So, the couple had eloped and had got married on December 13, 1982. Shakti and Shivangi are blessed with two children, Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor.
In a major breakthrough of events, Shakti Kapoor's son, Siddhanth Kapoor has landed in a controversy. Siddhanth, who is a DJ by profession, tested positive for drugs at a rave party, and he has been detained by the Bengaluru police. However, now in an interview, Siddhanth's father, Shakti Kapoor reacted to his son's drug controversy.

Shakti Kapoor is deeply shocked by the news of his son, Siddhanth Kapoor’s detention in Bengaluru for alleged consumption of drugs. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shakti Kapoor talked about his son's drug controversy and shared that Siddhanth has only been detained and not arrested. Adding that he's unaware of the events that are happening in Bengaluru, the actor said:
“I’m in Mumbai and I don’t know what is happening. I got to know from news channels only. All I know as of now is that there is no arrest and Siddhanth has only been detained.”
Further in the interview, Shakti expressed that he is not sure if his son was at the same party, which is said to be raided. He also shared that he will talk to his son soon and added that he's sure that the reports are not true. When asked if Siddhanth was in Bengaluru for work, Shakti said:
“Yes, he is a DJ and he plays at parties, and that’s what he was in Bengaluru for. I don’t know where are all these reports coming from. I will talk to my son very soon and know the details. But I know this can’t be true.”

According to multiple media reports, on June 12, 2022, the Bengaluru Police raided a rave party, where Siddhanth Kapoor was found consuming drugs. When the star kid was tested, his reports came out to be positive. Reportedly along with Siddhanth, five more people have been arrested. In a media interaction, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dr Bheemashanakr S Guled confirmed the news of the 37-year-old actor being detained at the rave party and said:
"It is confirmed that Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhant Kapoor took drugs. He tested positive for taking drugs in the blood test report. Hence, he has been brought to Ulsoor police station."
On the work front, Siddhanth Kapoor was seen in movies like Shootout At Wadala, Jazbaa, Haseena Parkar, and many others.
