Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor have been working hard to ‘build a dream together’ and have time and again dropped hints about their new home. Parents to two, Shahid and Mira currently reside with their children in a sprawling beachfront property in Mumbai’s Juhu area, but as per the reports, they have bought another abode in Worli—a duplex apartment on 42nd and 43rd floor of Three Sixty West’s Tower B. A few days back on Instagram, Mira had shared a picture with hubby Shahid, wherein it’s not clear what Mr and Mrs Kapoor might be looking at, but it was her caption that caught their fans’ attention. It stated, “Building a dream together #workinprogress”.
On April 30, 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor were snapped by the shutterbugs on their customary dinner date at one of the cafes in the city. This dinner date was special as Shahid and Mira twinned in white for their outing and we are so in love with their OOTN! While Shahid kept it casual in a white tee and black joggers which he paired with white casual shoes, Mira looked stunning in a white shirt with blue denim shorts and silver shoes. ShaMira (as their fans fondly call them) were all smiles for the camera as they were snapped outside the café.

In 2018, speaking to Rajeev Masand, Shahid Kapoor had revealed how he manages to stay grounded even after a 15-year career in Bollywood. Crediting his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor for the same, Shahid had said, “I got lucky. I married Mira. She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.” Sharing that he had always craved for normalcy in life, Shahid went on to say, “I’m very simple as a person. And although I might live a very lavish lifestyle, I’m very happy I share my life with someone who has a similar mindset.”
Did you know that Shahid Kapoor had met Mira Rajput when she was 16 years old and their relationship was not so out of the blue? In an interactive session with fans on Instagram, Mira had revealed the same, when a fan had asked her, “What was it like meeting Shahid for the first time? Considering he is a star”. Mira had replied, “Just like meeting anyone for the first time. Interesting. It was actually when I was 16 and we were at a common family friends house for a concert by a sufi singer.
