Shahid Kapoor recalls being a 15-year-old shy dancer

In an interaction with India Today to promote his upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid Kapoor looked back on when his passion for dancing developed. The actor revealed that he began to realise his love for dance at 15 and remarked that he was an ordinary, shy teenager who used to dance in the corner of a room. “I was like a regular 15-year-old. I was very shy. Didn't have guts. I always used to dance in one corner at every party. It was my mom who noticed my love for dance. She was a classical dancer. She put me in Shiamak Davar class. She told me to be confident in whatever I love to do.''
