Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his latest released film, Jersey. For the unversed, Shahid is married to his ladylove, Mira Rajput Kapoor, and they are blessed with two beautiful kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. Shahid is a complete family man, and glimpses of the same are found on his and Mira's respective social media handles.
Shahid's latest film, Jersey has definitely left a mark on his personal life. His doting wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, who herself is a well-acclaimed social media influencer, has time and again shared glimpses from his shooting days of the film, Jersey. On April 19, 2022, Mira had taken to her IG handle and had shared two throwback pictures, in which, we could see Shahid playing with his daughter, Misha on the field. In the other picture, we could see the busy mommy with her son, Zain, segregating the cricket equipment. Alongside them, Mira had written:
"While papa was shooting @shahidkapoor."

Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Shahid Kapoor had talked about the connection he had developed with his daughter, Misha Kapoor while shooting for the film, Jersey. He mentioned the protective feeling that had automatically come out in him for his kids and how he doesn't want to let anything affect his babies, Misha and Zain. Shahid said:
"It was more with my daughter Misha at that point in time, Zain was way younger. So, the parallel I had here was with my daughter. That protective feeling, living your life through them, seeing them grow and being there for them…. whatever happens in your life, you don’t want to let that affect them because you want their mind and heart to remain pure."
Further in the conversation, Shahid mentioned how inspiring he had felt after reading the film's script. Mentioning that as a parent, he would like to lead by example and practise what he preaches. The Kabir Singh actor added:
"When I saw the original, I felt it was extremely inspiring. It makes you feel motivated and elevated. You feel ki main apne bacche ki nazron mein khud ko ek katra bhi kam nahi hone de sakta… It all begins as a self-oriented journey of trying to prove what you are capable of as an artiste, but with time, you realise that it’s nothing if you don’t represent it. As a parent, you have to represent all that you want your child to work towards and inculcate. You have to lead by example; otherwise, if you say one thing and practice another, you create your child’s first contradiction. It’s not fair to them."

Earlier, in an interview with ZoomTV, Shahid Kapoor had explained how his kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor are unaware of his work. He had revealed that his loving wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor used to share with their kids how their father has completed something and for which they need to celebrate it. Shahid had mentioned:
"My kids still don’t know what I do most of the time, I like it like that. Mira will be like, ‘Dad finished something really important,’ and (imitates them clapping) they celebrate. That’s that."

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are doting parents to their kids, Misha and Zain. And the duo keep on updating their fans about their kids' growing years by sharing glimpses of the same. On March 9, 2022, Mira and Shahid were taking their daughter, Misha to school for the first time post-pandemic. Taking to her IG stories, Mira had shared a picture holding her hubby's hand while allegedly, he was driving the car to Misha's school. Sharing the picture, the loving mommy had revealed how she and Shahid were feeling at that moment while leaving their kid in school after a long time. Mira's note could be read as:
"First day for a confident girl and two sappy parents."
For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had welcomed their first child, Misha Kapoor on August 27th, 2016, and their second kid, Zain Kapoor on September 5th, 2018.
