Shahid Kapoor and the beautiful Delhi girl, Mira Rajput entered into holy matrimony on July 7, 2015, and became proud parents to their little angel, Misha Kapoor on August 26, 2016. On April 20, 2018, Shahid and Mira confirmed that they will soon welcome their second child and Mira is in her second trimester. Apparently, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor were planning their babymoon in June with their daughter, Misha Kapoor. But seems like the babymoon plan has been put on hold due to Shahid’s work commitments. With Batti Gul Meter Chalu and the remake of Arjun Reddy on the platter, Shahid will ditch the babymoon plan and work instead.
As per a report in the Mid-Day, a source revealed, "Shahid had decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha [daughter] in June before he begins training for Arjun Reddy. But now that the Batti Gul schedule is likely to run into June, he has called off the trip. He wants to ensure that his commitment to this film doesn't spill over to that of Arjun Reddy, the shoot of which is lined up for July." Reportedly, the shooting for the film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu was supposed to resume in April but got delayed after ex-producer Prernaa Arora faced financial issues. The shooting has now recommenced after T-series came on-board. Shahid wants to complete this schedule on time so that he begins his next project. The source further added, "Shahid will be filming Batti Gul in the mornings. His evenings will be dedicated to MMA training for Sandeep Vanga's film. He needs to beef up for the remake. Besides undergoing dietary changes, he will alter his fitness regimen to include weight training." Shahid took Mira to the Maldives for their first babymoon when she was expecting Misha. And the location that the soon-to-be-parents have chosen this time for their babymoon is still unknown. Recently, Mira was seen accompanied by hubby Shahid while they were leaving for Delhi. Mira was flaunting her baby bump in a mauve silk salwar kameez and her hair tied in a neat pony. Speaking about the cute announcement of Mira’s pregnancy and welcoming a new member in their family, Shahid shared, "Yes, of course. I'm very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it out on Instagram and I thought the photograph was really cute. It was a spontaneous decision and it just happened. It's feeling really good. There's still time. This is the second time, so it doesn't feel new, the first time it felt very new. But it's always very exciting and we are really looking forward to having another new member in the family.
