For those who don't know, Shahid is the son of veteran actors, Pankaj Kapur and Neliima Azeem. Despite being a star kid, the actor created a niche for himself with his hard work and went on to become one of the most sought-after actors in India. On the other hand, his wife, Mira Rajput is a millennial influencer and a true blue fashionista.
On August 31, 2023, Mira Rajput Kapoor took to her IG handle and shared some pictures of her look from the family wedding. The diva was seen decked up in a red-hued sharara set with lace and stone work on the borders. Pairing her outfit with a sequin-encrusted dupatta, Mira looked stunning. Nude base makeup, blushed cheeks, bronzed eyeshadow, kohl-rimmed eyes, and pale pink lipstick accentuated her look.

Talking about her accessories, Mira opted for a bindi and statement kundan jewellery set to add stars to her look. Meanwhile, open tresses and a white potli bag made her look elegant. However, you would be surprised to know that Mira Rajput repeated her bridal jewellery for the occasion, and styled it in the best way possible. Mira's bridal jewellery included a choker-style statement necklace with matching earrings, a passa, maang teeka and a stack of pink bangles.
On August 29, 2023, Shahid Kapoor also took to his IG handle and dropped some glimpses of himself as he got ready for the wedding. Dressed in a black kurta, the actor looked dapper while getting a turban tied on his head. In one of the pictures, Shahid also posed with his dad, Pankaj Kapur, who donned a matching look. Sharing the pictures, the loving son penned a note and revealed that his father had asked him to wear a pag for a family wedding. His note can be read as:
"Dad always says ghar pe Shaadi hogi to pag paega na."

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shahid Kapoor opened up about his struggling days and shared that he is a self-made actor. He also mentioned that he gets really upset whenever somebody calls him a star kid and mentions that he got into stardom because of his father, Pankaj Kapur. For the uninitiated, Shahid Kapoor and his father, Pankaj Kapur worked together in two movies, Shaandaar and Jersey. Talking about his dad, Shahid shared that his father is a very proud man, who struggled in his early days, and he never offered Shahid any help. Shahid said:
“He (Pankaj) was a very proud man. He would never tell his son ki mein yaha call kar deta hoon, jaake unse mil le. He was not like that. He was like I struggled my way up and I was too proud to ask him also ever for any support. In fact, I never even brought it up with him nor did he ever ask me. It just never came up. So of course, it has been 20 years of a lot of work.”
