Pap Slams Sunny Deol For Being 'Abusive' As They Clicked Pics During Dharmendra's Illness, 'Baat..'

Dharmendra, the He-Man of Bollywood, passed away on November 24, 2025, which has been a major heartbreak for his family, friends, and the entire industry. During the time, he was in the hospital, several pieces of footage made rounds on social media, and the paps were slammed on several occasions for clicking photos and videos during such a tense time. It was Sunny Deol who once lost it and slammed the paps.

Now, a senior pap came forward to talk about the same, while calling out Sunny Deol for being abusive with them, while they were just doing their job. He also talked about the viral clip from the hospital and brought the photographer a whole lot of flak.

Senior pap slams Sunny Deol for using abusive terms to them when they were clicking photos

As per a recent report by the Indian Express, senior pap, Varinder Chawla recently talked about the incident that took place. As per the pap, Sunny Deol is kind of similar to Jaya Bachchan, as he feels that they both are angry people. He further added that it's not the first time that they have been clicking photos, and they have been doing this for ages. Sharing that the paps were doing their job and they were at least 20-30 feet away from the late actor's house, Varinder said:

"There are so many Indians who love Dharam ji. The paparazzi were at least 20 to 30 feet away from their home. They were just doing their jobs. They wanted to show to the audience how many Bollywood celebrities are visiting such a loved human being, and how much love and respect they have for him. This wasn’t happening for the first time. We’ve been doing it for ages."

During one of those moments when the paps were clicking photos, being at Dharmendra's residence, Sunny Deol came out and asked them if those people didn't have their family members. He used an abusive term and said, "Aapke ghar mein maa-baap, bachche hain? Sharam nahi aati? Ch**iyo ki tarah video bana rahe ho."

Varinder mentioned that it's understandable that Sunny was frustrated, but he shouldn't have used abusive language. He also mentioned that the family's PR team is in touch with them, and Varinder and his team post their family statements and stuff, so the actor could have reached out and asked for privacy, instead of using abusive language. Varinder added:

"Wohi baat aap ch*tiya bole bina bhi bol sakte the. You have a PR team who’s in touch with us, right? We posted the family’s statement on Dharmendra’s health that came from them, right? I did it myself. You could’ve just requested through your PR that you’re a bit emotionally down and need privacy, we would’ve stepped aside. When have we not?"

Well, after reading that, Varinder said that he called his team and asked them not to click any photos or videos there. Talking about the leaked video, Varinder said:

"Dharmendra’s leaked video from the hospital wasn’t our fault. I don’t know what your problems are internally, but you take it out on us? Everyone just dumps their frustrations on us."
