For those unaware, the actress, who lent her voice to the fictional pop star ‘Venus Nova’ in the movie, wore a stunning all-red look for the event.
It is worth mentioning that Ray Gunn reunites Scarlett and Sam Rockwell after they worked together in Iron Man 2 and Jojo Rabbit. Scarlett even admitted that they have developed a “great chemistry” across the films. This has brought back Scarlett’s previous statement about how dating outside Hollywood can cause ‘jealousy’ since actors get ‘very intimate.’
Scarlett Johansson opened up about the challenges of dating outside the industry
During a conversation with Stranger Things star David Harbour, Scarlett Johansson opened up about the relationship strains caused by dating someone outside the entertainment industry. The conversation stemmed from how they have more of a tendency toward dating actors and artists rather than “normal people,” as David put it.
To this, Scarlett said that she did have serious relationships with people outside of Hollywood. However, the challenge that she would soon come across was that they barely had any idea about the things she needed to do for her job. She said:
"I’ve had serious relationships with people that were not in the industry, and I found one of the challenges was that the person had no idea of what I needed to do my job. Obviously, if I was dating an oncologist, I wouldn’t know what they needed to do for their job. But it’s not so abstract."
Scarlett was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds. The duo stayed together from 2008 to 2011. She then tied the knot with French journalist and art dealer Romain Dauriac. They were together from 2014 to 2017. She is currently married to Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost, with whom she shares a son named Cosmo.
Scarlett noted that when it comes to romantic relationships with actors and those who don't work in entertainment, tensions might sometimes rise due to the actors’ jobs. She believes that actors tend to create very intimate relationships with those they work with, leading to jealousy in their partners. In her words:
"I also think it’s easy to create a lot of jealousy when a person is not involved in the industry, because actors by nature are very free-spirited and they create very intimate relationships with people at work. They can be loyal to a partner and also very engaged in all these other kinds of relationships, and I think it can be a blurry line for some people."
In addition to this, Scarlett Johansson mentioned that it might be a complicated thing for people outside of the industry to understand what it is like to have a relationship with the public.

When giving love a third chance, Scarlett Johansson chose to marry someone who knows the ins and outs of the entertainment industry, in accordance with her beliefs. She began dating Colin in 2017. Things between them initially started out in a casual manner when the comedian asked the Black Widow actress out on a dinner date.
A source at the time said that Scarlett had just separated from Romain and was still dealing with the fact that she now had two failed serious relationships. While she was not trying to rush into anything, she decided to give things with Colin a go.
As their bond deepened, Scarlett and Colin tied the knot in October 2020, in an intimate ceremony. They welcomed their son Cosmo in August 2021.
