Many love stories start with great friendships and same has been the love chronicle of the ‘baba’ of Tinseltown, Sanjay Dutt and his pretty better half, Maanayata Dutt. It is also to be noted here that Maanayata is Sanjay’s third wife as he was first married to Richa Sharma from 1987 to 1996, who died due to brain tumour. Then he went on to marry Rhea Pillai in 1998, but they got divorced in 2005. Sanjay and Maanayata had tied the knot on February 7, 2008, in a low-key affair in Goa. Two years down their wedding bliss, the couple had entered the parenthood club and welcomed twins, Shahraan and Iqra Dutt on October 21, 2010.
Yesterday, on July 22, 2019, Maanayata turned a year older and her hubby couldn’t be happier. Sanjay took to his official Instagram handle and posted a lovely birthday wish for his ladylove. Sharing a lovely twinning in black picture from their birthday dinner date, Sanjay worded his post as, “Can’t imagine my life without you @maanayata! Maanayata is a very protective wife to Sanjay and that we have seen during his tough times when he was behind the bars. Talking about the same, the star wife herself had once shared, "Wherever there's power, there's bound to be a lot of conspiracy hovering around that source of power. And let's face it, Sanju is very powerful. There were too many people around him trying to use him. I came like a barricade in Sanju's life to stand between him and those who want to use him. Revealing the scoops behind her happy life during their courtship period, Maanayata had once shared, "Oh yes. I've never been happier. Sanju has stood by me through thick and thin. I've known him for nine years. We started seeing each other seriously in 2005. But he knew my past. So, when 'friends' tried to provoke him he just laughed it off. He knew everything about me.
