On April 12, 2010, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had said qubool hai and decided on forever. The couple had welcomed their baby boy on October 30, 2018. Since then the lives of amma, Sania and daddy, Shoaib has been revolving around their little bundle of joy. Now that the baby, Mirza Malik is growing up, he sure has many questions to ask like any other child, and amidst all the questions, he has a special doubt related to amma, Sania. Sania Mirza took to Izhaan’s official Instagram handle to share his doubt with the world.
On April 8, 2020, the official page of Sania’s son, Izhaan, which is managed by Sania Mirza only shared an adorable picture of Izhaan holding amma, Sania’s badminton racket. Izhaan has perplexed yet cute looks. The caption along with the picture can be read as “So what’s the fuss all about ??? I don’t know why Amma needs to practice so much for something this easy” Sania also shared the similar picture of her baby, Izhaan, captioning it as “I am pretty sure he’s thinking what the fuss is all about?” Well, if not about the fuss, we certainly know that this little bundle has sports in his genes. On March 25, 2020, the official Instagram page of Izhaan had shared a cute video, wherein we could see her asking Izhaan, who is amma's cupcake and the little boy cutely replied to it. The video was captioned as "I’ve got it down ... I know where Mickey is and I definitely know who amma’s cupcake is." On January 14, 2020, Sania had made a triumphant return to the court (officially) after a gap of 2.5 years with an opening-round win in women’s doubles at the Hobart International. It was a special moment for Sania as her parents and her son, Izhaan had come to cheer her up. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a winning post. In one of the pictures she had shared, we can see her giving a high-five to her son. Alongside it, she had written, "Today was one of the most special days of my life .. to have my parents and my little baby boy supporting me in my first match after a little less than 2 and a half years .. and to top it off we even WON our first round with my partner @nadiakichenok feel very grateful and thankful for all the msgs, support and love I am receiving. BELIEF!! Takes you places. YES, my baby boy, we did it @izhaan.mirzamalik. Allhamdulillah for everything."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sania had talked about embracing motherhood and had stated, “A lot has changed after becoming a mother, your life changes, I think the whole focus becomes about the baby and prioritising the baby. Me as a working woman, I obviously want to get back to tennis, so I am trying to prioritise my time. It is the most selfless kind of love I have ever known, and it is the most amazing feeling I have ever had. My life has completely changed for the better.
