On September 11, 2020, ace Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza took to her Instagram stories and shared two beautiful pictures. In the first picture, we can Sania with her husband and cricketer, Shoaib Malik and their little prince, Izhaan. Whereas, the second picture is a timeless frame that features the mother-son duo looking away from the camera. Atop of the second photo, Sania wrote, "At sea. At peace @izhaan.mirzamalik." In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sania Mirza had talked about the impact of her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik in her life and how he had helped her during the challenging phase of the pandemic. Sania had remarked, "I drive strength from my family, especially my son Izhaan. No matter how bad my day is, his smile makes everything better. I'm sure we all have that one person who makes us feel that way. Keep them closer."
On January 14, 2020, Sania had returned to the tennis court after a gap of 2.5 years. It was a special moment for Sania as her parents and her son, Izhaan had come to cheer for her, being her good luck charms. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared two pictures. In one of the pictures, she was seen giving a high-five to her son, Izhaan. Along with the pictures, she had written, "Today was one of the most special days of my life... to have my parents and my little baby boy supporting me in my first match after a little less than 2 and a half years... and to top it off we even WON our first round with my partner @nadiakichenok feel very grateful and thankful for all the msgs, support and love I am receiving. Izhaan Mirza Malik is one of the most loved star babies and his mommy, Sania Mirza surely knows that. In an interview with the Bombay Times, she had shared, "Yes, he's very adored! Obviously, being a child of two people who are public figures, you get a lot of love. I receive a lot of comments about my son. Every few days, if I don't upload his picture, I get requests from many people who say, 'Can you please upload his picture?' and 'Can I have a smile from him?' He's just a child, and he obviously doesn't know, but we are really overwhelmed by the love that he receives."
