Indian Tennis sensation, Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik dared to blur the geographical line between the two countries when they decided to get married. After a lot of hurdles, Sania and Shoaib said qubool hai on April 12, 2010. On October 30, 2018, the star couple embraced parenthood and welcomed a baby boy, whom they have lovingly named Izhaan Mirza Malik.
However, for the past few days, there have been reports that everything is not fine in Sania and Shoaib’s marital life and the duo is heading for a divorce. Since then, there have been multiple reports about the same, however, Sania and Shoaib’s silence has only added more fuel to the fire.

As per the latest reports, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are filing for divorce after 12 years of marriage. The couple was already living separately and now they have taken the legal route to formalise their divorce. It is also reported that Sania had reportedly caught Shoaib cheating on her and decided to part ways with him.
However, as per the Pakistani media, it is also reported that the star couple is already divorced. The news was confirmed by a close source from Shoaib’s management team in Pakistan. As per the source:
“Yes, they are officially divorced now. I can’t disclose more than that but can confirm that they have separated.”

A few days back, Sania shared a cryptic post on her IG stories which more or less confirmed that everything is not fine in her life. After a few moments, the Tennis star removed the post, but her fans had already taken a screengrab of the same. Sania’s post could be read as:
“Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah.”
On November 4, 2022, Sania Mirza shared a picture on her Instagram feed in which she could be spotted alongside her son, Izhaan. In the picture, the doting mother could be seen receiving a sweet peck from her baby boy, Izhaan. However, the caption to the picture caught everyone's attention as it could be read as:
"The moments that take me through the toughest days."
