Amid the ongoing investigation surrounding the circumstances of Sanchita's death, her chilling comments on life struggles surfaced.

Sanchita Ugale spoke on her personal struggles a year before death

About a year before her demise, Sanchita Ugale opened up about her long working hours and the sacrifices she had to make for her career. In a May 2025 interview, she said that managing her personal life was getting increasingly difficult with her growing work pressure. She revealed being 17 to 18 hours out for work, with very little time for her personal endeavours. She felt a sense of disconnect from her family and friends; however, she didn't have anyone to blame, as she had chosen the kind of life herself. Sanchita stated:

"Right now, managing my personal life is a bit difficult. With 17 to 18 hours of shoot daily and travel time, I hardly get any proper sleep. I'm not able to take care of my health or spend time with family and friends. But I chose this field, and I'm happy with what I do. On set, I at least try to eat well and get some rest when possible. I also stay connected with my family– I manage in small ways."

Sanchita Ugale recalled the struggles of breaking into the industry

In the same interview, Sanchita Ugale shared the struggles of getting roles in TV serials as an outsider. After years of working in the television industry, she now has a massive Instagram following of over 139K. But as a newcomer, she wasn't that big on social media, which led to her missing out on a lot of auditions. After struggling for two and a half to three years, she finally started taking baby steps in the television industry. Recalling her initial days in the industry, Sanchita said:

"At auditions, people would question me about my followers on social media and many other things. After two and a half to three years of facing all that, I finally started getting roles. I know this is just the beginning."

Sanchita Ugale lacked her family's support at the start of her career

Sanchita hails from a very humble background. Her lower-middle-class family didn't support her dream of becoming an actress at first. She recalled lying to them, telling them that she was going to tuition when she was actually at theatre practice sessions. Sanchita Ugale was glad she made that decision back then, as the experience helped her build her acting foundation through monologue training and more. She further shared that she received her family's support once she started getting work. Her exact words were:

"Coming from a lower-middle-class family, I didn't have support at first. I used to say I was going to classes, but I was actually doing theatre, that's where I started learning and practising monologues. But once I started bagging projects, they understood and supported me."

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sanchita Ugale's family as they deal with this difficult time.
