Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni’s love story is nothing less than a fairytale. They are the perfect exemplars of opposites attract as Samantha is known for her bindaas attitude and an avid social media user, whereas her husband, Chay is completely opposite to her and likes to keep his personal life out of media glares. The duo had met each other on the sets of Yeh Maaya Chesave in 2009. They had dated for a while and had tied the knot on October 6, 2017 in a dreamy wedding. The couple had first gotten married according to traditional South Indian rituals and later in a Christian wedding.
On October 6, 2020, Samantha and Chaitanya have completed three years of marital bliss and are still head-over-heels in love with one another. The spark they have is unmatchable and one look at them makes us fall madly-in-love with them. To wish the love of her life, Samantha took to her IG stories and shared a monochrome picture from their cousin, Rana Daggubati’s wedding. Posing with arms around each other, Samantha and Chaitanya looked stunning as usual. She had shared few unseen pictures from their wedding day and their life after 'tying the knot'. Do you know, it took 8 long years for Naga and Samantha to confess their feelings for each other? Talking about the same in an interview with Famously Filmfare, Samantha had once stated that the time was never right in their case. When she had really liked him, he was not in the right space and when he had started responding positively, something or other had happened. She had retorted that it took them 8 years to come on the same page. But when they did, all the fans of Chay and Sam couldn’t hide their happiness.
In the same interview, Naga had candidly talked about his decision of marrying Samantha. The actor had said, "I think there was a point when we both were single. We hung out more than normal. So, automatically things started building between us. I was also mentally looking to settle down. I always looked forward to having a family. So, all those thoughts started flowing in my head and she was right there in front of me. So, I was like she is a known devil (chuckles). I know all her mischief and I am fine with them."
The beautiful wife had gotten her hubby, Chaitanya’s name tattooed on her body. A few months back, Samantha had won the Best Actress award for her movie, Super Deluxe at Zee Cine Awards Tamil 2020. Sam had opted for a powder pink-coloured saree and had paired it with earrings and had kept her makeup minimal. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared some pictures in the same look.
